I have never had a difficulty or attitude before buying items from Mac but the ladies that day I went were very rude and very Jaggie everything I was asking for apparently it was not in stock

The best part of my experience at this MAC location was the service from the niiice lady in here. She guided us through the store and showed us some products. We were about to buy the “Canada” MAC red lipstick but we didn’t like that they didn’t have the flag inside too. This MaC store is located inside the Carrefur Mall in Laval.

I have been buying and using MAC for decades. They are quality products that are always evolving. The customer service is top rate. The MAC store at Carrefour Laval gives very good service regardless of whether I need to pick something up quickly or whether I need to find a new product.

Location: Inside Carrefour Laval, near the Renaud Bray book store. Plenty of parking available. The place: The store is small and cramped. I stopped in on a Sunday morning and there were 2 other shoppers in the store who happened to be in the same general area and it felt a little tight. The place is clean and the products are well presented. They also have a make-up 'station' where, I presume, you can have your make-up done for a fee. The goods: Most women know this product line so I won't get into a lengthy description; they offer a wide variety of shades in all the is lips and eyes and I would imagine that they have colours to suit every taste, from the subtle and natural to the more risqué and bold varieties. I stopped in because I was looking for a gloss or a lipstick. Prior to going, I used the 'Try it on' feature via their web site so I arrived with a few possible options. The clerk who served me was OK, but I didn't really feel like she was attentive or all that interested in helping me. I showed her my (short) list of colours and told her what I was and was NOT looking for and I eventually left with nothing because when I did settle on something, they were out of stock (no, this is not the clerk's fault). Service: Average, could have been better. I'm not casting aspersions here but my impression was that the store clerks work on commission. The reason I say this is because there were two clerks in the store (and basically 2 clients including myself) and the clerk I was dealing with was handling both me and the other client, and when her colleague came to see if I needed help, the other one came over and told her she could take care of me... The other clerk gave me the impression that she was more interested in assisting me choose something that I would be comfortable with. Price point: Around $20-25 for lip products.

She is new and I regret not getting her name but I remember her saying that she's 23 years old and I think that she was on her 3rd shift. She is absolutely hands down one of the best make up artists I've ever encountered and her customer service was second to none. The service at MAC especially at this location is always top notch.

Had stellar customer service from Alyssia who helped me purchase a foundation today. She was friendly, very knowledgeable about the products she recommended for my skin type and she helped me find my perfect foundation shade. She was also just a lovely person overall and I’m grateful to have had her help today. Thank you so much!
