Very nicely laid out and well maintained.
Camp fire burning to warm up and lots of space to put your skates on. No fee, donation box on site. Well worth whatever you donate.
Well done laurentian valley.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ First visit with the family. What a great local spot! Ice is smooth with very few ruts, lots of skate aids for kids, fire pits, benches. We will definitely be returning, and hopefully for a night skate!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So nice! It is free!! Nice length (1.7 km). Keep in mind because of covid you have to keep/carry your boots with you! (Or walk from your car with your skates in, which isn't too far).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a blast yesterday. It was about 0° C and it wasn't crowded at all. The ice was in great condition. We did 20 circuits. You have to skate about 600 m on a slight downward slope to get to the circuit. The circuit is about 500 m.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited the Laurentian Valley Skating trail today and I was pleasantly surprised! This ‘by donation’ skate and snowshoeing trail through the trees was lovely and was an excellent covid friendly activity to do with friends or family. Skating conditions were great, trail consists of 0.4 km trial in and a 1.0 km loop. Reservations are required for weekdays but not on weekends.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went in near spring so trails were a but slushy, thats our own fault though. Its a very nice path, I bet the lights look amazing at night, it will be fun to do a night skate next season. Entryway is great, there are aids to help for children and/or beginner skaters, signage is very clear on where to enter and exit (though some people still manage to go the wrong way) I would recommend checking out this little place if you’re interest.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This trail is an amazing place, we are so grateful to the volunteers. This is the kind of thing children do with their families and friends and remember for a lifetime. Great place for kids to get together outside of school and for families to hang out outdoors. Family members who don't skate can use the surrounding snowshoe trail. The atmosphere here is like a winter wonderland.
