too bad there is no 0 option. That would be the rating I would pick. After vacating the property and leaving it in spotless condition I was shocked to see I had a $500 cleaning fee. When I called and ask them to prove the work they could t not. When I pushed further on the matter they said that "they just have a blanket fee" and cant prove the work done. They tried to take advantage of students and charged them for work they did not due (pretty sure thats illegal). I know I am not the only student that dealt with this.

Wish I could give 0 stars... I'm a graduate student and rented all throughout my undergrad with multiple companies. This is by far the worst one. Multiple issues violating our privacy and rights regarding notice when people would be entering the house. When emails were sent by roommates and I they would just give dismissive responses. if you want to save yourself a headache, try your best to avoid renting from them.

I have rented in London for 3 years and Luxury Student Rentals were by far the worst people I have ever rented from – the 1 star rating is generous. They rented our house out for May without confirming with us if we were even staying on a month to month basis after the expiry of our 8 month lease. Subsequent to that, they pestered us with emails every few weeks telling us to sign our lease termination. They also entered our property a few times without confirming with all tenants that we received a notice of entry 24 hours in advance. After we moved out, they charged us $100 in junk removal fees. We cleaned the house and property before leaving. It seems like they have charged other tenants the same way, they clearly won't hesitate to make a quick buck off young students – nothing "luxurious" about that.

Absolute excellent experience having one of our properties rented out by Luxury. Their agents were polite, kind and respectful. They made the whole process very easy and we now have our property rented with confidence. Thank you!

Just rented a unit with Hunter and it was an awesome and easy experience! Throughout this whole house hunting journey, he was very accommodating and sent me numerous listings to consider. He was extremely helpful with questions and made sure all our needs were considered. Excited to move in!

I’d give 0 star if possible. Charges student ridiculously. We cleaned the house and vacuumed everything, and here is 500$ cleaning fee on us. And told us to put the garbage on the curb and charged us for 125$. If you are struggling with life and academic, I’d recommend you to live on the street rather than signing a lease with Luxury Student Rental. I lived there for 3 years at 88 wharncliffe road, first year i moved in i got robbed...

Terrible company. Many complaints bc it charges illegal fees and slaps on a $500 charge when it is not warranted. Updated info as of April 7, 2022 as per LS Rentals response to my review wherein it states that it does not charge illegal fees. Let's take another look at this so readers can better understand it. An illegal fee is when you charge $500 to a student lease at the end of the vacancy when there is no basis for it. Students and their parents have written reviews that LS Rentals has slapped on a $500 fee after the student has vacated the rental unit despite leaving it spotlessly cleaned. So whose lying here, the parent (I doubt it). Read actual reviews where students have stated LS Rentals has done this and come to your own conclusions. Be forewarned too that LSRentals charges over and above what it's suppose to charge when rent increases. By law LSRentals can only increase rent by 2.2%. Therefore you will want to make inquiries with the students living in the rental unit that you will soon occupy and what their rental fee actually is. LS Rentals attaches a 2nd Agreement to the Standard Tenancy Agreement and that's illegal. Specifically the 2nd Agreement is purchased by LSRentals from London Property Management Association in London Ontario. LSRentals will state it can use the 2nd Agreement but it cannot; that is in violation of the Standard Lease Agreement. Let's put it this way so you can understand it fully, read on below: 1) The language used in the Agreement from the London Property Management Association is much too confusing that any layperson would have much difficulty understanding it. Plus it's the whole reason why the new Standard Lease Agreement was revised so laypeople could understand the language. 2) Nearly all the clauses in the Agreement from London Property Management Association are contradictory to the Standard Tenancy Agreement and when that occurs it makes the numbered clause(s) in the Standard Tenancy Agreement void. 3) Use of the Agreement from London Property Management Association also violates tenant's rights.
