★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have gone to this salon for years and recently I got acrylics done and at first there were 2 girls and they were good for the first bit but when they started to do the acrylic nails the one girl just up and left saying that she couldn’t do them and it took them about 2 hours to finish and I was really disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I love love this place! I drive in all the way from Calgary because they do the best job. I love Mia but I think they’re all awesome here. I appreciate the time and attention they pay to my shape and how thin they make my nails, I can’t stand thick fake nails.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I came in and they gave me a services booklet, in it it says $25 for an acrylic refill. I asked her how much more for my certain design, she said $5, so I said okay so $25 for the refill and then $5 more for the design? She said yes. Did my nails and then charged me $50. I asked why it was so much more and they said a refill is $50, so I pulled out their services booklet from their front desk and pointed to the $25, and they said that’s outdated and they haven’t had those prices in months. So I paid the $50, and left and I will not be back. I feel as if they were swindling me, and considering I had said $25 and they said yes, they knew what they were doing.
**update**
They contacted me and since I asked for an acrylic refill and they did a solar powder refill they refunded me the difference which I think was very fair.

I only get short coffin nails so it’s truly not groundbreaking. Ended up filing them myself in the car after
Also two different girls drilled my nails down for the fill making them so thin it was painful, she also proceed to burned me twice never apologizing.
For $55 dollars I’ll keep going to Calgary

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lux is my favourite nail salon in Okotoks . Everyone working is so kind. Mia is amazing at nails, each time I come in with a tricky design and she nails it. If you want great shaping and designs this is the place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst experience ever stepping foot into a nail salon. Mia was rude right from the beginning. Rushed my service and did a horrible job. I wanted to walk out of there but decided just to hold it out. The final product was a disgrace. Didn’t clean up her polish from around my nails, didn’t do the shape I asked for, made me bleed on multiple fingers and most of all was not only rude to me but rude to the others that walked through the door. If you want a 5 star experience do NOT come here!!! Such a bad experience for the moment I walked into the door to the moment I left.
