★ ★ ★ ★ ★ J'ai amené mon ArchTop à la "Truss Rod" brisée chez Théo. Il a tout défait, mis une nouvelle Rod et remonté la guitare. Un travail de maître. Je retrouve une guitare de lutherie qui ne me servait plus depuis des années et un nouvel artiste de la lutherie que je recommande absolument!
 I brought my ArchTop to the broken "Truss Rod" at Theo's. He defeated everything, put a new Rod and put the guitar up. A master job. I find a violin guitar that has not served me for years and a new artist of the violin that I absolutely recommend!

Je lui ai donc expliqué ce que je souhaitais en terme de forme de guitare et de son recherché. Par la suite Théo m'a régulièrement envoyé des photos des avancées du projet et je suis également passé à plusieurs reprises à son atelier pour assister à la naissance petit à petit de la guitare. Quelques mois plus tard, il m’a livré mon instrument. Depuis, je ne le lâche plus… »
A result beyond my expectations. From the first meeting I appreciated the idea of being able to create my own instrument accompanied by a passionate person. I explained to him what I wanted in terms of guitar shape and his research. Subsequently Theo regularly sent me pictures of the progress of the project and I also went to his studio several times to witness the birth of the guitar little by little. A few months later, he delivered my instrument. Since then, I do not let him go ... "

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Je connais Théo depuis un an et demi, il m'a été suggéré par Dontcho Ivanov. Théo fait du travail toujours super propre et professionnel sur les guitares électriques, je lui fait 100% confiance ! Les guitares sortent de chez lui comme neuves :) Sa dernière job qu'il a fait sur ma guitare est un refrettage (telecaster) Top clean ! Je l'ai totalement redécouvert en la sortant. Il a aussi fait plusieurs gros ajustements sur ma guitare qui possède un pont flottant floyd rose; il maîtrise aussi bien cette mécanique.
Bref, il y a de nombreux luthiers à Montréal, mais Théo est super passionné et créatif, travaille comme un chef, est vraiment agréable et fait plein de suggestions pertinentes avant d'entreprendre ses démarches de travail sur les instruments, donc je garde son contact dans mon téléphone !
I have known Theo for a year and a half, it was suggested to me by Dontcho Ivanov. Theo is always super clean and professional on electric guitars, I make him 100% confidence! The guitars come out of his house like new :) His last job he did on my guitar is a refrettage (telecaster) Top clean! I totally rediscovered it by taking it out. He also made several big adjustments on my guitar which has a floyd pink floating bridge; he masters this mechanics as well.
In short, there are many luthiers in Montreal, but Theo is super passionate and creative, works as a chef, is really nice and makes lots of relevant suggestions before starting his work on the instruments, so I keep his touch in my phone!

Impeccable work every time! I do not let anyone else other than Theo make repairs on my guitars. really welcoming and passionate. For gypsy guitarists or other I recommend it before anything else!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been to Théo twice now (one for my electric Music Man and most recently for my Taylor 3 series) and he is a WIZARD; my Taylor had received some pretty extensive heat damage from my hippie times around campfires, and he has redone it so that it sounds even better than before.
He knows his craft, is the real deal, and is upfront with prices.
My go-to guitar doctor!
