Absolute butcher work. Went there for buzzing frets. He charged me 300 bucks to put etching marks at every fret on each side of my board and he didnt even fix the buzzing frets. Avoid if you don't want to waste your money and damage your instrument.

I took my Stratocaster here to repair a warped neck. Overall the service was really not great. First of all I found that the prices were way too high, he recommended I get a refret since my frets were pretty worn. The refret was $400 and I figured I would get a bone nut cut while I'm at it, which cost $70. The wait time was not bad but once I got my guitar back I was not happy at all. First of all the nut was super squeaky, and it did not fit the slot in the neck. It was cut short and was not flush with the edge. When I asked why this was the case he told me that I should not worry about it. Even though I paid 70 dollars for this nut. He put in some kind of filler to make it reach the edge but it still seemed low quality for the price. Around a year later I am having the nut replaced because it was poorly cut and it constantly creaking/squeaking and ruins my tuning. Next was the frets, luckily they played well but there was a lot of cosmetic damage. My fretboard was chipped in many places, there are what I believe to be burn marks, as well as some deep scratches. It looks like it was rushed. I asked why there were gaps underneath where the frets did not meet the wood, he said that happens sometimes but he could fill it. I asked him to fill it and he was quite sloppy with it. He did warn me the colour may not match, which I was fine with, but the application was still not proper. Some were filled too much, some not at all. When I got the guitar back there was a large blob of the wood filler on the top horn that he did not bother cleaning off. I also noticed some damage around the edge of the neck pocket where the finish was scraped. He did manage to fix the warping and put in some functional frets, but that was it. It felt like he had done the bare minimum, and maybe even less. Obviously there was little care taken with my guitar. Numerous wood chips, scraping of the finish, scratches, black marks on the wood, and a nut that does not hold tune. I would not recommend anyone take their guitar here to get fixed, there are other luthier who will charge less and be more careful. At the time I expressed my concerns but was told that this was normal, and that he saw this as acceptable work. I have never seen anyone else receive a guitar back from a shop damaged. He did offer a small refund of 100 dollars at the end. A year later I am still dealing with issues that were specifically caused by this luthier.
