I first visited Luna back in 2019 and I must say after three years, I remember going there and the food being impeccable. With Covid, I haven't gone out and in while but I was always curious to know what happened to this restaurant and if it was under the same owners. When I walked in I was happy to see the wonderful woman who served me last time. It was the owner Melanie. She had the same lasting impression on me once again. Melanie and her husband treat you like family! It doesn't feel like a regular restaurant. They genuinely care how satisfied the customer is. The food quality is better then anywhere else I've ever been. They MAKE everything with love and they also DO everything with love. If you want to go somewhere for amazing food and a wonderful experience this is the place to be! They take pride in what they do and you can tell they're not in for the money but the impact they have on their guest. You can see if from just their interactions with their customers. When we pulled up to the restaurant we were unaware of what to expect as the restaurant is situated in a very unassuming strip plaza. The decor inside the restaurant is very nice but what impressed us was the quality of the food and the attentiveness of the staff. Melanie and Dom were very friendly and met our every need. The red wine was served at the right temperature. We will definitely be returning.

We try the seafood risotto and rack of lamb, and mussels as appetizers! Everything was so good! We are definitely coming back! Plus the staff was so welcoming and kind! Whole experience really worthwhile!

From the moment I contacted Melanie, she ensured all if my plans would be perfect. We had it in their event room in the back. 25 people. Here is a pic of the table setup. We had a preset menu and had everyone choose the food ahead of time. We had arranged seating which coordinated with the orders so the service was like clockwork. Cassie and Katrina were our servers and were so great with everyone. Needless to say … the food at Luna Ristorante was delicious. Everyone commented on how great it was. I was too preoccupied and forgot to take pictures ?‍♀️ Thank you Melanie and Dom and the staff for making this a great celebration. Luna Ristorante is most definitely a favourite restaurant in the Newmarket and Aurora area. If you haven’t experienced this place yet… please try it out. If you have already… go back again soon … it’s alway a great experience.
K	Kevin Truong on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Booked a dinner here for a date night with my girlfriend. Everyone was very friendly and the atmosphere of the restaurant was wonderful. The food was delicious! We loved every one of the dishes we chose. However, I am going to have to take off one star as the waiting service could have been a lot faster. I admit they were very friendly and courteous, but we had to wait a very long time to place our order, get water re-fills, and get the bill. I had attempt and wave down a waiter for over 10 minutes at times. I believe this was due to them being understaffed on that day as there was only two waiters waiting on the whole restaurant. It was understandable that the service was slow as there was clearly a lack of resources for the night. I hope this was just an off night. The rest of the experience was wonderful outside of that.

Husband and wife run the front of the house without missing a beat, they enlisted the help of their son to ensure that our event ran smoothly. 26 guests in total and not one incorrect meal was served, each appetizer drink order and steak was perfect! Not even the KEG gets every single order correct so this speaks how well this restaurant is ran. Every dish was very tasty with lots of flavor that will surely please every foodies pallet. The true Italian family feel that Mel and Dom bring to their restaurant is why we keep coming back! If YOU'RE looking for a place where everybody will treat you like family THIS IS YOUR PLACE!
D	Davin R on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Lovely place! Great service, absolutely delicious food! The shrimp was cooked to perfection in our risotto dishes. Flavours on the lamb skewers were surprising. Even the wine recommendations were on point. Loved the ravioli as well. Oh yeah, and the desert was amazing!
