Doctor isn't very friendly but the nurse staff is great hard to imagine why they put up with him. They also ran 1 hour behind my scheduled appointment time. He was demeaning and when he asked if i had chest pains i said no (i dont) but then said since i had asthma i shouldnt have lied to him about chest pain. I dont have chest pain and i havent had a bad asthma attack for 5 years. I was there for a body itch not a breathing issue or chest pains. I talked to him about pets i had and he told me i was wrong (what?). After 1 hour of waiting he spent all of 3 minutes just patronizing me and calling me a liar. Phone secretaries are also very unprofessional. Treats patients like dumb children.

Dr Luciuk and his staff are fantastic! He helped me with my allergies, then my son, and now my daughter. My son and I live normal "allergy free" lives now, and I am 100% certain my daughter will benefit from seeing Dr Luciuk.

The nurses were so helpful and friendly, but the receptionist and the doctor had some additude, they should be more professional.

Medical staff is fantastic. I've been seeing Dr. Luciuk since I was 5 for asthma and allergies. Their receptionist on the other hand.... Talking to her is such a task, it feels like she's half listening. Doesn't seem to always know what she's doing for the little things. Never messes up anything big so no worries there, she often sounds like she's reading off a script which isn't always relavent.

The admin staff is terrible. The nurses are great. The doctor here is very rushed I would say arrogant. He misleads his patients and quotes an invalid DIN for the testing serum not registered with Health Canada. Actual testing fees are not covered by most insurance plans. I'm battling now with them because the office refuses to modify the receipt for his services that he used Allergy Testing serum 02242716 instead of a non registered DIN (Drug Identification Number) 00999652. As a result, your claim will likely be denied unless your plan covers testing. Normally, it takes a while to see an Allergist in BC, but with Dr. Luciuk, that's not the case. I imagine it's because he doesn't have many return patients, they go elsewhere. Communication is done by a third party email service, Proton mail which rarely works when you provide the given password from the clinic. Often you either can't log-in, you have an invalid password, or attachments can't be downloaded. As others have stated or implied if you read between the lines in the comments, his receptionist is like a bot and has a major attitude. She's not a happy person in my opinion. As a suggestion, before you get any injections from him, you need to find out exactly what the DIN is and provide in writing exactly what the receipt is going to say. I can't trust them and I don't feel the quoting of an invalid DIN is an ethical practice in the eyes of the BC College of Surgeons and Physicians. However, I would try to get referred to another allergist.

Dr Luciuk is 10/10 he knows exactly what he’s talking about with a lot of experience, the process was simple and fast! The staff are so friendly and efficient. I was originally in 2 minds of going after reading some reviews but cannot disagree with the 1* reviews more! I was offered the option of medication that I do need but was told it was my decision to have the Medication ordered as once ordered it was non refundable but I can claim it back from my insurance. The whole appointment went above and beyond my expectations. I will be back to order my medication and again for check ups. 5* from me!

Dr. Luciuk is rush and super super super rude. He lose his patience on his patient of asking/ answering questions. His bad temper is like a fighter other than a doctor. Please search and read all his bad reviews before make an appointment with him. Is a shame that we have a doctor act like this in Canada.

I saw Dr. Luciuk 10 years ago and again this week. You go in with an issue, he investigates, tests, and based on the finding, recommends a solution. His manner is logical and matter-of-fact. He does not waste your time and gets straight-to-the-point. I appreciate Dr. Luciuk for his knowledge and experience. He brought my allergies under control a decade ago, and I have every confidence that he will do the same now. The office staff is exceptionally polite and efficient both on the phone and in-person. This is not a chatty and social office but one that takes it's job and patients seriously. My experience has been great.
