β β β β β We got 1/2 a roast duck (η鴨) and a honey bbq pork (εη)γThe duck was pretty dry. Maybe because we asked for 1/2 and they had a left over one? Because there were some in the window that looked better. Maybe it's just bad luck for us.
But still, it was on the less flavorful side. I like the ones that has a clear taste of spices, especially in the cavity/bones. This one wasn't it. Fortunately they gave us a soy sauce dip, but again I personally prefer the ones with more spices (ie. More of a ζ»·ζ°΄ rather than just θ±ζ²Ή/ι¬ζ²Ή)γ
The bbq pork was ok. Nothing special. Would like a bit more caramelized bits but it was ok.
All of that could be down to luck or personal preference. But there's also quite a few flies in the store. It gave more of an "old shop" feel, so I looked past it when ordering hoping the taste would be amazing. But since the taste isn't really what I was looking for either don't think I'll be back.

β β β β β A true hidden gem, a relic that's well and alive from Victoria's Chinatown past. This has been around for 30+ years passed down generations. You won't find it on Google search. Delicious Canton style BBQ duck and chicken. It's a family rubbed businesses , the decor and design inside will bring you back to 1980-1990s Hong Kong. Just amazing.

β β β β β Cash only the take out BBQ meals starts at $8 for 1 item or upside for $11 and $9 for 2 items or upside for $12.50 ? Personally I go for the 2 item meal to go.
The BBQ meat is very good like the ones from Vancouver or Richmond. Ask for lean or fatty pork cuts or go for the chicken or duck. I like this place for BBQ meats than the popular place next door (still great for bakery and food).
