Lowbrow started out with us cooking for family and friends, trying new contraptions, and asking for honest feedback! We’ve had some not so good food come about, which made Cory dive further into figuring out “how can I make this better”.
Next for Lowbrow was we started selling small meals and desserts from our home. That started to grow and grow. Which in turn made Cory think, what’s next?! He approached acouple of businesses seeing if we could do a pop up restaurant in a business, and low and behold we had our first huge event at Another Round SportsBar, which blew us away at how many people came and how many people had to get turned away because it was packed in there. Our bodies were exhausted, our feet were numb but our hearts were so full by the overwhelming response we received!
Which then lead Cory to finding a licensed kitchen at the Tommy Douglas Centre where we pre-sold meals for one day a month, each month! This continued to grow and grow and more and more talk came about this food truck we once joked about.
Cory put his blood sweat and tears into building this food trailer, all on his own in a few short weeks.
On June 2 of this year, was the first day we parked our food trailer out! And fast forward to where Lowbrow BBQ is today makes me so frickin proud!
Cory not only has the food trailer being asked to attend numerous functions and some he has had to turn down, but catering requests has been booming!
Us as a family, have put our blood sweat and tears into Lowbrow BBQ, along with some great crew we have added to the mix!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I haven’t been disappointed yet! Pulled pork with their slaw is delicious, but their tacos are my favourite. As well as any flavour of cheesecake, so good!
They are also quick to give back in the community wherever they can which I just love.
