Welcome to Loves Custom Meats. We at Loves pride ourselves on great service, outstanding selection and customer satisfaction.

We are a provincially inspected slaughter, cutting, and processing facility. Currently we are focused on the custom cutting and wrapping market, but eventually will be able to do block ready meat for large customers. We also have a large processing and cutting area which allows us to make any product imaginable. To top it all off we have a retail area to serve the public with our fine quality meats.

Although we have yet to try the meat or really even see the cuts of meat, I have been pleased with the fantastic service I received from Ryan each time we spoke. He was super friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and patient with all my questions. It is because of this, I will give them five stars. If for some strange reason the cuts of meat aren't up to our standards, I will come back and change the star rating and my review. I can not comment on pricing as I do not have anything to compare this service to as purchasing meat in this manor is quite new to me. Until then, I am going to give them the benefit of the doubt and leave it at 5 stars. He seems super passionate about his job and in my opinion, that type of pride and positive attitude will most often shine through in their work.

I'm a jerky hound, and find they have great pork, and bison jerky, their double smoked pork chops are great also. I find the custom service extremely friendly, and helpful. Today we had the pleasure of meeting Grandma Love, she was sweet as she was knowledgeable. Last month we met the younger Mr. Love, also very knowledgeable, and friendly. You can tell the fella really enjoys what he does. However I must say I will have to keep an eye on my fiance, she thought he came out of a Hallmark movie, her words not mine. Honestly if I didn't like the jerky and service so much, I might hesitate to bring her, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do when the jerky is that good.

In our discussions before ordering, Ryan said "If your pig weighs 200 lbs there is roughly 20 lbs of waste you should get 180 lbs of meat." Unfortunately, that is not what happened. Our pig weighed 219 lbs and we ended up with roughly 153 lbs of meat! Ryan never mentioned evaporation loss nor loss of water in the curing process until after our concerns. Losing roughly 45 lbs of meat was not what we expected, based on the conversation before ordering. They did offer us a full refund if we wanted to return the meat. But, our issue was not about the quality of the meat. The meat is delicious. Just wish we would have gotten the truth before ordering.
