★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A quaint and cute little shop under a trendy veranda. This place mixes mostly all the wild berries and fruits into their ice cream.
I had the vegan (coconut) ice cream with mixed berry. Although I love coconut, it was totally overpowering and I was unable to taste the berry.
The signature handmade cones were super favourable with a hint of cinnamon. Really enjoyed that.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute ice cream place!! It was busy but the line moved quickly. It was decently set up for distancing with markers on the floor and designated entry/exit ways. The ice cream was good, I had the seriously chocolate chocolate hard scoop and Chris had the soft serve swirl (mango and vegan coconut). I think the swirl is the way to go!! Will be trying it next time.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ O.M.G. What a wonderful place to get ice cream!! It’s a cute set up in a little camper trailer.
They have soft serve and hard ice cream and if you get a double or triple you can easily mix it!
Tiny cone runs you $4, single $5.50, double $6.75 and triple is $8.
3 of us got the lovely lemon square mixed with either raspberry, wild blueberry and salted caramel. Hubby got the vegan chocolate coconut and mixed berries.
All were super good! Hubby commented it’s one of the best ice creams he’s had. And that is a big compliment as he is not into sweets. I tried a lick of his chocolate and it was really flavourful and not too sweet!
Only “complaint” is it melts fast and leaks! So can get messy! The waffle cones aren’t rolled too well as they have a bit of a hole at the bottom. When I got to the bottom of the ice cream I noticed a small marshmallow at the bottom to block the hole I guess but didn’t work too well.
Wrapping the napkin around the bottom of the cone helped a bit until the napkin got soaked.
So we all got ice cream dropped onto our clothes, shoes or the sidewalk! Lol
Another complaint is we discovered this the day before we leave courtenay. So will have to wait until next year to visit again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great place for ice cream in Cumberland. The homemade cone has a light layer of hardened sugar, and the marshmallow at the bottom is a nice surprise. If you never been to Love’s the salted caramel and love’s child is a must!!!
