★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stopped in during an early morning visit to Stratford and a local had recommended we come here for breakfast . Even though the place was visibly busy and we hadn’t made a reservation they happily accommodated us . It’s got charm and we both really enjoyed our food . Best scrambled eggs I had in a long time and the pancakes were so darn good !

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Delicious! We've been there for breakfast and the changeover at lunch is great too! The foccacia bread is amazing. If you are there for lunch or dinner try a chicken sandwich.... you won't be disappointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went for breakfast, our order was taken. The table who sat after us got their food before us. Our waiter then came to us and said our order was lost and asked to take our order again. We waited an hour for our food, which part of it came wrong. They were quick to fix the wrong order. Tables who sat after us ate and left as we just started eating our food. Food was delicious, service was far from stellar. May have been an off day. Would still be willing to give it another go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a one night winter getaway to Stratford recently, and stopped in here for breakfast as it was close to where we stayed. The service was quick and all the staff were friendly and cheerful. I had the skillet and my wife had the classic breakfast. We both enjoyed our meals. My only suggestion is perhaps they could include two pieces of toast (= 4 triangles) with the skillet, but that is just my opinion, and certainly not worthy of knocking the rating down to four stars!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My first visit to Old Man & Son and I was not disappointed. I ordered the egg Benedict breakfast but they were offering a limited time offering of Bread pudding with scallion and potatoes (I think) with smoked meat, egg and hollandaise. It was simply put, sensational. Let's also not undercut the crispy grated hash browns to compliment this beautiful attack on the taste buds. Great job Old Man & Son for making my morning. I would recommend this restaurant for anyone visiting or dwelling in the downtown Stratford area.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The restaurant is spacious and clean. We got Nashville hot chicken sandwich from Pollo Morta as well as chicken skillets from Old Man and Son. Both were so amazing. The chicken in the sandwich was seasoned so well and it’s quite filling. My chicken skillets + 2 eggs came in a huge portion and I could only finish 1/3; I love the shredded potato mixed well with the cheese and sauted veggies. It came with focaccia bread which was super fluffy. 10/10 meal
