★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been sending my mini Schnauzer Bailey to her country club, Love on a leash with Shelley for three years now since she was only 9 months old for 5 -7 wks each year.
As we all think, no one can look after our fur baby as well as us. But Shelley just takes our little friends and they become hers for the time we are away.
When I pick her up Bailey is calm, not stressed and even a tiny bit hesitant to come home with me?
She gets to play with the other furry guests and all is good. She even gets to sleep on the bedroom!
Let’s me feel content that Shelley and Frank are really going the extra mile to make everyone happy.
I just hope they don’t retire for another 15 years??

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My dogs love staying with Love on a Leash! They are never kenneled and are treated with so much loving attention including lots of walks and play time. I'm never guilty about going away because I know Love on a Leash takes great care of my dogs - including letting them sleep on furniture! I also like using them when I'm in a pinch for walks during the week when I have to work all day and can't get home to let them out! Tammy and Shelley are dog experts and often give me excellent advice about the health and care of my pooches. Thanks ladies!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We recently found Love on a Leash, and they have been a Godsend. We were in desperate need of a sitter since our sitter from Rover bailed last minute right before our 2 week trip. Love on a Leash were very accommodating to the tight deadline, along with doing a great job with our dogs strict medication schedule.
Archie specifically stayed with Love on a Leash in the Country with Shelly and Frank. Frank came to pick Archie up and was very patient with Archie as he was nervous getting into a car with a stranger. We were treated with photos and updates whenever we asked and Archie seemed to be having a great time with the other dogs.
When we were finally reunited with Archie he looked healthier then when we left him haha. We took him back recently for a couple of nights and he was absolutely stoked! Shelly and Frank are incredible dog lovers and very very professional, I couldn't recommend them more!

We have had our dog stay with Love on a Leash in the Country for many years now and every time we return he is a happy, healthy boy and has even learned some really good habits! ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our lovely 21 months Ladradoodle Rio drowned and was find 3 days later in their care! We are so heart broken ! Why Rio was in the basement ??? We will never forgive these peoples that saved their dogs ( of course theirs dogs were upstairs) We are so upset and just can't imagine how Rio drowned . Our baby my beautiful grand furry son! Don't trust these peoples!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our dog Noah loves Love On A Leash in the Country. He adores Shelly and Frank! Frank usually picks up Noah and when I tell him Frank's coming, Noah is waiting at the front door for him. Noah loves the outdoors and staying with Shelly and Frank is perfect for him. Noah loves playing with his friends there. We have total peace of mind with Love On A Leash in the Country, and with Shelly and Frank. Whether it be a 2 day country retreat for Noah or a longer stay, we always know he's in good hands. Frank usually delivers him home at the end the stay, and Noah always looks out the window as Frank drives away!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When our Jack Russell Terrier, Ella, wasn't a fit for the usual dog boarding facilities, we almost panicked (how do we travel?) until a friend recommended Love On A Leash, and let me tell you, we couldn't be happier. Tammy and her team of caregivers (particularly Lori Baker) have provided loving, excellent care for Ella five times now and will continue leaving her with them every time we travel. Tammy and her team really care about your pet, and it shows -- Ella loves visiting her Love on a Leash "aunty" (Lori) and is excited to get in the door!
Leaving your fur baby when you travel can be super stressful, but Love on a Leash allows you to enjoy your vacation, knowing your fur baby is in good hands, probably getting even more attention than at home. Without hesitation, I 100% recommend Love on Leash and am so grateful for it!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! My beautiful boy drowned while in their care recently during the Abbotsford floods. They were only able to saved 5 of 9 dogs. The pain my family and I feel is beyond imagination. We trusted them to take care of our boy. Our hearts are shattered forever. They saved their dogs so why not mine? I will never forgive myself for sending him there. Why was my dog in the basement and why was he not able to escape. These questions will haunt me forever. I will never forgive them. Do not send your dog here!!!!!
