★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had rather an emergency with my tooth. I live in the Gulf Islands and came over to see my dentist on a Friday. My dentist said that my tooth was complicated and referred me to Dr Lin. Dr. Lin saw me at 6:30 on a Friday night, examined me and then proceeded to start a root canal then and there! The work was done using a microscope- very precise. He and his dental assistant gave up their Friday night to work on my tooth until 10:15 pm! He was very kind, very good and very knowledgeable. He will be finishing my tooth on Monday night after 7 pm, another night dedicated to helping me! The great part is my tooth is SO much better already! Highly recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Lin is the expert you want to see from the first time.
I have complicated canal system for my tooth needed root canal. I went to see a general dentist first, but they could not make the freezing work even after five shots! And he forcefully tried to drill the canal with the nerve being not frozen at all. It was very painful and I got traumatized.
So I phoned this specialty dentist, and surprisingly they accepted me without referral (which was a big plus because I did not even want to talk to the first dentist).
Then cam Dr Lin. His procedures were butter smooth and after the second shot, freezing worked perfectly. He did not try anything forceful. They also use the microscope which I heard is a must for successful root canal. The doctor also uses hand written illustrations to explain in detail, which I was impressed.
This is a must go place for anyone needing root canal or any complicated cases (like accidents). Unlike other specialty dentists, they take patients without referral. A lot of dentists fail to do a proper root canal and people (myself included) ended up going see an endo for re-treatment. Imagine how much pain and money you could save by going see Dr Lin from the first place.
