★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you enjoy that feeling of crossing a rickety bridge you'll love the louise. Ive been told the question isnt if the bridge can handle the weight of the traffic that crosses it, but if it can handle its own weight. Not a fan of stopping on it during rush hour traffic...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think that these old bridges in the city are beautiful. I also know that It's days are coming to an end . Let's just hope that when and if they replace the Louise Bridge that they give it a little style. What I've read before is that this bridge was opened in 1909 and is the second bridge at that spot. I believe that the first ? bridge was taken out by ice.
