About Lorri Walters, Royal LePage Saskatoon Real Estate

“There is only one agreement left, but it is the one that allows the other three to become deeply rooted habits. The fourth agreement concerns the action of the first three: always do your best. I also found it strange to judge a book by the behavior of a person who claims to have read it and by the elderly people who are the ancestors of the author of the book. For this reason, I did not respond to Cccc`s comment. If the commentator explained why he believes the four agreements cause people to behave recklessly and selfishly, I might have had an answer. As it stands, I maintain the idea that – Toltec or not – these principles are a healthy lifestyle and are consistent with best practices supported by modern psychology: but there is also another type of “selfishness” that simply means taking care of yourself and going what you want, without harming others. I wrote about this in another PT blog post, “Good, Neutral, and Bad Selfishness.” Although he should be the heart of his contribution – Ruiz is just as weak at the third point, death. It would have been exciting to find here a carefully crafted discourse (both risks and rewards) about the rich tradition of shamanic ceremony and the use of plants to attain altered states of consciousness designed to accelerate enlightenment. Instead, we are pampered by a half-hearted warning: “Wake up every day, as if death is at the door every hour.” If we can see that it is our agreements that govern our lives, and that we do not like the dream of our lives, we must change the agreements. When we are finally ready to change our agreements, there are four very powerful agreements that will help us break those agreements that come from fear and deplete our energy. His contributions among the first two can be vaguely summarized as follows: “Be aware of the agreements that dictate your reality and have the discipline to change them.” You could get a little more out of his writing, but not much.

Unfortunately, his references to travel don`t go far beyond a well-made “Just do it”. The most damaging of these agreements is that you are never enough; that you are constantly lagging behind a bizarre ideal. The result? The agreements you have made knowingly and unconsciously are the fundamental source of suffering and aspiration in your life. Worse, they make you a vector of suffering in the world around you. Cccc`s comment seems to come from a person who is something high-end. Being really kind and generous doesn`t mean you have to let selfish people crush you. When this happens, you`re probably not as “enlightened” as you think. Seeking what you want in life is neither selfish nor hurting others. Cccc`s point of view seems, quite honestly, very dependent on the code. Although he talks about it in his latest “Toltec Path to Freedom,” the greatest weakness of the Four Accords is that Ruiz does not (or could) clearly have (or could) the crucial importance of this plant-based tradition in Neochamanism. The result is a good description of “what” awakening looks like, but little real advice on the “how” to get there. .

We bought our current house with Lorri in 2015, and she made what is normally a very stressful time easy! I would love to work with her again in the future!

Although I have not used Lorri as my real estate agent I have been dealing with her in regards to the sale of the rental property I am currently living in. She has been put in a completely unprofessional situation by the property management company who take care of this house and she has handled it with grace and professionalism. I am very appreciative of her attitude in handling such a unnecessarily complicated situation.

I had a great experience working with Lorri when I bought my home. She is friendly, knowledgeable, fun, and down to earth. I will definitely call her again when it comes time to be posted out of Saskatoon, and will recommend her to co-workers. She's also been a great resource for home improvement tradespeople. Thanks Lorri!

I worked with Lorri when I purchased my home. We were first time home buyers and worked with two other realtors before we found Lorri. To be honest the two other experiences are the reason we waited so long to buy it was just to stressful. Once we started talking with Lorri she made the process comfortable. We felt at ease and actually enjoyed the process. Lorri took care of everything no matter what time of day or what questions we had she was there. Lorri is the reason we have the home we do now to raise or son and make memories! If you want someone to make things less stressful and who truley has your best interests at heart then she is the one you need on your side!

I'll start with 10 years ago. We were buying our first house, and knew absolutely nothing about the process. Lorri was referred to is by a family friend and was (i believe) newer to the real estate world at the time. Her knowledge, drive and honesty was apparent from day one. We were young and excited to buy and called her about every house that we might have the slightest interest in. It didn't matter if we talked to her at 7am or 10pm she would get something set up for a viewing, most times that same day (depending on the seller of course). After finding our first house she made sure to check in with us and see how we were. Through the next 10 years she kept in touch. She didn't just sell us a house and forget about us the second we signed on that dotted line. Fast forward 10 years one child later and it was on to bigger and better things. We moved 2 hours away and had to sell our house , which i was still working on and finishing up at the time. I may have a tendency to take things too far and she came and checked out the progress and reeled me in a bit so that we didn't dump excessive money into a place that we were selling but still did everything properly in a way that the next owners would be happy as well. Through that process she didn't call us everyday to see what the progress was, she would just check in from time to time to see if we needed anything or if she could help in any way. Finally I was done and she hired a professional photographer to come in and take pictures of our house. When I say I was done I mean I got finished about half an hour after they showed up after working all night, so there was still some clutter to be shuffled around. She dug in and gave me a hand. As I said before I now live 2 hours away and had to get home to go back to work. She hired a cleaner to go through the house and give it a good once over so that it would show well. And popped by regularly to give it a quick sweep after showings (because i was not able to) and bring the mail in for us. The house sold a month later. Once again we knew nothing about the selling process but we didn't need to because we had "The Lorri". As we were fairly desperate to sell, she wouldnt let us make a bad decision and sell for too low. After being in real estate for another 10 years since our first encounter with her, her knowledge and work ethic are stronger than ever. She didn't get comfortable and just settle in to her position and get lazy. She still has that same drive that she had when we first met her. She will always meet you with a smile and give it to you straight. If anybody needs a realtor I would not hesitate to choose Lorri, in fact I would say drop the realtor you have right now and call her.

Lorri was so incredibly helpful in our house hunt ! She is very easy to talk to and relate to! As we looked at houses, she told us what she liked and didn’t and also informed us on the things that would be more work if we purchased a certain home which we really appreciated . She was also very patient and accommodating with us as it was our first home purchase ! I would for sure recommend giving Lorri a call ! She will help you find the home that you are looking for with a smile !

I've had a great experience buying my first home with Lorri. She was very clear with me about what was going on and what would happen next. She had good recommendations for everyone else we needed to get involved (mortgage broker, inspector, lawyer, engineer). She paid attention to what I needed and checked in with me to make sure I knew what the status was on everything, or if I had questions. She was clear and knowledgeable about the financial needs a house might have as a fixer-upper. I absolutely loved working with her.

We've had the pleasure of working with Lorri twice now and will recommend her to everyone we know. She is extremely patient and professional yet fun. She listened to our wants and needs and looked at countless houses with us (some of which I'm sure she didn't want to go into ?). We always felt comfortable with Lorri, whether it was selling and buying our home. If you're looking for a realtor that will treat you like a person and not a transaction- Lorri is your person!
