Andrew and his crew built our dream home in Lockport MB! They did it exactly as planned, in the perfect timeline. Andrews experience in the trade helped out immensely when it came to layout and difficult decisions that we struggled with. From day 1 when we first sent them the plans they came back with a quote (which was a very attractive number) in a timely manner. It took a couple days, when other companys leave you hanging for weeks just to get the quote. Everything after that was successful, they were very punctual, on site every morning first thing and on site every day they said they would be. We recently had Lopes Construction frame a new garage at our home. Andrew and his team were professional and very responsive. They were easy to get a hold of and quickly answered the numerous questions we had. Additionally, Lopes was able to accommodate changes in construction schedule(delays in foundation work due to weather) and put in extra time to bring the schedule back on track which we are very appreciative of. The quality of the work is fantastic and passed inspection with flying colours. We will certainly use Lopes Construction for any future construction or renovation at our home, and are confident recommending them to friends and family.

When you know, you know! You know? From the moment we met with Andrew & Danielle, we knew that we had found our builder! They literally welcomed us into their home to meet them and listened to every little thing we were imagining our dream home would be. We had butterflies leaving that meeting, could not wait to get our project going, and felt totally confident in having Andrew at the helm of our build. As much as we needed them, they were there during the design process, to bounce questions off of, inform us about how the budget would change, and ensure that every little detail was planned for. Andrew’s knowledge of all the structural aspects is second-to-none and Danielle helped immensely to visualize the interior space with her keen sense of interior design. We were so excited to have our blueprints finalized and into Andrew’s hands for a more accurate estimate. Not only was Lopes’ quote incredibly fair, but the breakdown of costs was thorough and easy to understand. Prior to digging, Andrew & Danielle provided us with a detailed list of all their trusted suppliers. This list was foolproof, as it outlined in chronological order just what we needed to pick out and where to do it. And upon visiting each and every supplier, it was evident as to why the Lopes’ chose them... professionalism! We were always greeted with smiles and conversations that made us feel like family, expert knowledge on any product, and advice and honest answers to our questions. During the build, Andrew kept us informed, almost daily, as to what was being completed and what was upcoming. He welcomed us onsite as frequently as we wanted and was always so excited to physically show us the progress. The tradespeople demonstrated the utmost respect to our site and our property was always in immaculate condition. We were always blown away at the cleanliness of the build. When thinking about building a home, we imagined a general would pop in here and there.. that is not Andrew! He was at our site almost every – single – day, evenings and weekends included. The amount of time that he put into our home is a sheer reflection of the perfectionist that he is. Rest assured, Andrew commits his entire self to his projects and goes above and beyond to ensure that his clients are happy and satisfied. He stands by the product that he creates. We cannot say enough good things about our experience building a home with Lopes Construction. Their work ethic, easy-going attitude, and honesty made our first-time home building experience enjoyable and stress-free. We had hired Andrew and his team at Lopes Construction to look after all foundation work, framing and the install of windows and doors at our custom home build. We had an extremely positive and rewarding experience with Andrew and his guys throughout the whole process. The communication throughout the project was awesome. We were always kept in the loop regarding schedule, weather delays (which they would work around and work longer days when needed) and also changes on the fly. During the build, there were times where a new solution can be found to make things better, stronger or more cost effective and Andrew was very open to this at all times. Andrew worked hand in hand for us with other contractors, inspectors and was a great GC to have on site while his work was being performed. There were some small tasks outside of his scope of work that he also looked after to keep the process of the build moving on time and efficiently. I would personally highly recommend Andrew and Lopes Construction as a qualified, professional and hard working business that has helped us greatly in our custom home build project. Their reliability and trustworthiness can be counted on!

We recently finished building our new home with Lopes Construction and could not have had a more positive experience. During the design Andrew walked us through the entire process and helped us make economical decisions to avoid wasting money. Danielle helped us select the finishes and went the extra mile, going to numerous stores and spending extra time to make sure we got exactly what we wanted. When it came time to start building, we were kept up to date with everything that was happening, and Andrew was always available to answer any questions we had. The communication was great, so we didn’t feel that we needed to go see the progress everyday. The quality workmanship and professionalism was amazing. After we moved in Andrew continued to be available to help us with any questions we had. Overall, we had a great experience and we would highly recommend Lopes Construction to anyone looking to build a new home.

Andrew and his team recently finished constructing an addition onto our existing house. The finished product is beyond what we were expecting and are extremely happy we chose to go with Lopes Construction to build our project. We have dealt with multiple contractors in the past, and Andrew Lopes was a breath of fresh air to say the least. When he says he will do something, he does. Our project had a lot of work in our current house in order to tie into the addition (which required us to be home to let someone in), so his punctuality was very much appreciated. He is also a great problem solver. Early on in the planning phase of our project, we were hitting a road block trying to find someone who could fit through a 5’ passage to drill our piled foundation. Andrew tracked down a machine that could get the job done after multiple others said it wasn’t possible. Andrew also made little suggestions along the way which turned out to be huge improvements from our original architectural drawings. Andrews communication was above and beyond what we would have expected. He kept us updated on the progress and time line of our project on a daily basis. He and his teammates took the time to explain some of the construction process to me when I was curious, and didn’t make me feel dumb when I asked basic questions. He also treated our two young daughters like his own - waving and smiling to them as they watched his team work in our backyard. Andrew is a perfectionist - if he didn’t like how something turned out (something we didn’t even notice), he would come in on his weekend to make things right. I truly believe Andrew builds as if each job was his own house and does not rest until it is perfect. He doesn’t cut corners and he uses quality material in each aspect of the build. If it’s not great, its not done properly. They are also very trustworthy. There were a few instances where we chose to upgrade something from the original contract or add something else on. We felt the pricing was fair and never felt ripped off. I cannot speak highly enough of Andrew and his company. They were a pleasure to work with and I will continue to refer him to friends and family. We are delighted with the finished product and will enjoy it for years to come!

We recently moved into our home built by Andrew and his team at Lopes Construction. I am beyond words pleased with how every aspect of the build went. Something that became abundantly clear from the very start of the process was he truly cares and has a great deal of pride in his and his team's work. He treats the build as if it's his own house and refuses to cut any corners. Even before the construction began he had some very helpful recommendations on some of the architectural and structural design details and worked very closely with our architect to ensure we were getting the best quality home possible, spending countless hours on items that would definitely not be within his scope of work. He really goes the extra mile and doesn't nickel and dime over things many builders would consider upgrades. There's a lot to be said about a builder that spends a lot of time on site and Andrew was there every day keeping things running smoothly. I'd heard horror stories about the home building process and was told "It's such a pain you'll never want to build another house" however after working with Andrew and his team and the stress-free process we would definitely do it again and absolutely no question we would be using Lopes Construction! 5 stars Isn't enough but there isn't an option for more!
