Thank you to Longwood and all your staff who have hosted my family in various combinations for great, comfort food meals over the last decade - there were times we really needed it.
Get the fish and chips, or chowder, or a club sandwich or anything else, really. Get a gift card. Protect Longwood Brewery at all costs!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Stellar customer service - in the midst of the COVID 19 pandemic, the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. While waiting for our table we got an impromptu tour of the brewery and lots of information from the owners. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable of the beers offered and gave wonderful suggestions. Great prices with the beers as well. 5 stars!

Don't count on it, but if you ask nicely they will SOMEtimes allow refills outside of the "Open" times listed in Google Maps (though I suspect never outside of "normal" 9-5,Mon-Fri kinda business hours.)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We tasted some Longwood beer while visiting Gabriola Island, so we decided to visit the brewery when passing through Nanaimo. We were warmly greeted with a wave, and immediately felt welcomed. We had brought along some sandwiches and we were encouraged to enjoy them on the picnic patio. The server carefully followed all COVID protocols, so we felt safe and comfortable. The whole place was spotless. One of the most enjoyable brewery / tasting room visits we’ve ever experienced!
