★ ★ ★ ★ ★ She left me standing in court by myself and neglected to tell me she had changed the date. The judge kept asking me where my lawyer was. Ummmm how the hell do I know?? He sent me looking for her in the other courtrooms and she was nowhere to be found. She told me she forgot to tell me my court date had changed. Then she neglected to ask for costs in my settlement so I had to pay them. She took over a year to get to me and she charged me her rates even though her assistant was the only one who helped me and he was a complete moron. Why am I paying her rate for a half-witted assistant? Save your $. Find a professional because she is definitely not.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have a consultation and Mr Schmidt show for the phone call meeting 30 m late that tell you everything about a lawyer. Not interesting a t all about what happening here . Not sending information that suppose to sent me. I can not imagine go to court with that. Dont use this please unworthly

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was billed for file organization and the told to scan my own documents. I was then told I needed to organize them.
I requested a Will be made it was delayed and never completed.
I was told that their billing was paramount.
I picked up my documents and found another clients papers included in my file.

We promote excellent client service grounded in thorough knowledge of the law above all else in our delivery of legal services to the public. It has been 13 years since we employed a male legal assistant, and we have no record of the reviewer's name in our data base. If she was a client using a different name, it would have had to have been at least 13 years ago. I am a bit bemused by this review, I must say.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I paid around 27000$ to this firm, took me around a year but didn't get anything except my kids parenting. Everything else including my home, furniture, assets were either adjourned or dismissed. I got no financial relief. I was supposed to pay only 1319$ child support but end up paying 3600$ per month in child support and rent/bills for ex. Now I'm jobless and have 50000$ debt; even after earning good salary last year.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I highly advise anyone considering family law services to NOT choose Long Family Law.
Mark Dupres is not an effective lawyer. He will not follow through in a timely manner, he will not allocate anything other than the bare minimum effort to your file, and he will even charge you for time such as "meeting preparation" when it is clear that he did no such preparation.
Additional, if you care about COVID exposure you may want to steer clear of their offices.
They are not following masking bylaws when no one is in their office and they only put masks on when clients enter the premises.
This is a very poor law office wherein their lawyers are only interested in performing easy simple services that they are able to bill full rate on.
I was a client of Mark's for 9 months and he accomplished nothing for me in spite of thousands of dollars being spent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give no stars I would. I chose this firm as they had good ratings and reviews. I went to the initial consult and explained what I wanted (I have an extremely unique situation). I paid the $200 fee. She said absolutely no problem we could draft it up what I required. I paid the $1000 retainer and was called to come in for the retainer meeting for which you also get charged out of your retainer for. Again we went over what I needed and told her when I needed it by. She said yes, no problem. I then sent her all the required documentation, including the other parties documents (with their permission). At this point she has everything. I then emailed to ask when I would get it (by this time two billing cycles were eating up my retainer). She finally got me a draft document which was nothing of what we had discussed. It was like she hadn't talked to me at all. By this time my whole retainer was gone and I owed her money. I called Linda (the founder) and explained my situation. She got Megan to square the bill to zero. So if you have money to burn and no expectations, please feel free to have them stick you for $1200. I now have no agreement with my ex and nothing in place to protect my interest. I hope I don't get screwed. I could only afford this once. Oh and the best part, I went to report it to the complaint department for lawyers and their mailbox was full and could not get a person on the phone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Would easily recommend Long Family Law to anyone going through a separation. During a negative situation in life they made me feel comfortable and cared for. The initial retainer covered all of the expenses and everything was completed in a timely manner. Paul and Adrienne went above and beyond to look after my interest/assets and never made me feel like a just another client or a number. Definitely worth going in for a consultation meeting.
