Was a little worried about having a moving company transport all of our belongings from Ontario to Moncton. Turned out to be a great experience. Every item was wrapped with heavy quilted blankets. Drivers prepared everything and the loading was done quickly and professionally. They met us in Moncton and quickly unloaded everything and helped with setup. Couldn’t ask for a better crew and an easier move. A move official called us several times before, during to see how things were going. Would heartily recommend # 1 Van Lines and and their Movers.

Moved from SK to BC Everything was good from the beginning to the end! The reliable, friendly, efficient staff at the office and at the collection and delivery. All my stuff arrived in good condition and in only 4 days! Always had my questions answered thank you, Carlos! I definitely will use their service again if needed. Thank you very much to everyone! I’m not sure how they have so many good reviews - my thought is that they’re fake/paid for. WARNING! They seem to hide their bad reviews under different Google accounts, which I only realized after giving them my business. SO…I will post this on all of their accounts (Number 1 Movers Hamilton, Number 1 Movers Canada, Number 1 Movers Vancouver, Number 1 Movers Toronto…and I’m sure there are many more). I suggest you do the same. NEVER hire this company. They will hold your stuff hostage, and be completely unresponsive on your delivery date. We moved across the country from Toronto to Victoria. They left Ontario 5 DAYS after picking up our stuff. They are 3 days past our delivery window in Victoria (April 26 - May 2). We sent them the total owing on Tuesday after being told that our delivery was to going to be made on Wednesday between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. (this is the delivery THEY CHOSE). The very unprofessional company claimed that their movers missed the ferry and wouldn’t be delivering our stuff yesterday, but they would deliver today during the same time period. They completely ghosted us…AGAIN. No phone call, email, text, nothing. Nothing to let us know they would be late…or now we have to assume that they won’t be showing up at all. Don’t trust their quote for a 1 bedroom, either. We didn’t take most of our furniture with us, and were charged $1,000 over what they had originally quoted… Spent nearly $5,000! I will never hire this company again, and will not be recommending to anyone. WARNING. They hide bad reviews under different Google accounts. I will be reporting to Better Business Bureau.

The sales and scheduling people were quick to respond, very thorough (and friendly) in making certain we were crystal clear on the process and the factors determining the cost, and followed up regularly before and during the move to make sure we were being served well. The price was VERY competitive, and most amazing, the final cost was approx 10% under the inital estimate as a result of less time being required by the crew. RE the crew, the four men that moved us were incredibly professional (every piece of furniture and art was carefully wrapped and taped to essentially eliminate and chance of damage), efficient, sensitive to our perceptions, and, of course, friendly. They would not leave until we confirmed that every piece was where we wanted it. We have hired movers before, but have never seen anything approaching this team and how completely they deliver. They performed a wonderful job unloading and unpacking and were cautious of the property once again. They arrived on schedule for customs clearance, after which they delivered our belongings to our house in ON. I should also remark that, in comparison to the many other moving company bids I received for the cost of my relocation, I thought this company to be affordable. I'd want to express my gratitude to William and his team for helping our relocation goes as smoothly as possible. I would strongly suggest them to anybody searching for movers, particularly for an overseas relocation like mine.

We had been looking for a moving company and read the good reviews for Number 1 Movers. We then spoke to owner, who have been very professional, informative, helpful, kind, caring and understanding. We are so grateful to Nunber 1 Movers because they really worked hard helping us, trying to work out all details related to our move, dates and cost. Sadly, due to unexpected problems with our new home brought unexpected expenses which have made a difference in our budget. Though this time we could not work with them, we still recommend their services. We give them 5 stars for Exceptional Customer Service. Many blessings.

Our van driver Carlos and his crew did phenomenal job. Unexpected shuttle made it way more difficult but they didt complain. While they were here, They did great packing job and made it go smoothly. On the delivery day Hamilton guys arrived right on time and got right to work unloading the truck. They were the most professional, polite, considerate, careful and hardworking crew I've ever seen! They were unbelievably quick while taking great care with the furniture, walls, corners and doors. They placed everything right where I asked them to. They also set up our bed frames for us. Great communication and great service! I would definitely use Number 1 van lines again and would recommend them to everyone!
