We went for a bachelorette party with 7 people and did the family style menu. Our experience blew all our expectations out of the water. A few people were worried about small portions....we were absolutely blown away at the amount of food we got. We started with oysters, sourdough and pickles, white ham, smoked meat croquettes, a house salad and a rilette. The mains included lobster spaghetti, canard au poivres and trout....and then desert came. We easily had 4x too much food and packed a ton to take home. The family style is beyond worth the price and the service was incredible. We will reccomend this restaurant to everyone coming to Montreal.

I am NOT a seafood fan, but will try things within reason. I had the raw scallops. Oh my! What an amazing flavor and texture! Staff was super cool and I highly recommend getting the paper airplane drink. Should definitely have a reservation. Their sister store has like a month long wait list.

I enjoyed their sauces for oysters, burrata was great with the salad and buttery sourdough bread. For main course we had trout in creamy lobster sauce with corn. Dessert was something new and different for me, a souffle like pillow floating in vanilla cream accompanied by peaches, berries and almond biscuits. Everything was delicious, service was great, the waiter was able to advise us skillfully and make sure we order just enough food. Their garden has a lovely ambience.

One of the most delicious food in Montreal area, and I don't usually choose local foods. The price is reasonable for the quality and the dining experience, and I would say it is now one of our go-to date night options.

Had the steak with Blue Cheese. All I can say is I will never have a steak like that ever again in my life! It was so exquisite and the portions were really good! A great way to start a trip to Montreal!

Such a great vibe! Packed house and it felt so good. Awesome menu - we got the oysters (some of the best I’ve ever had), halibut (special), steak frites (a classic) and shared the bread + pickles. Happy to hear it was local made and the selection of wines were all natural. Great for date night or a night out with friends/family. I’ll be back for the lobster pasta!

Do not go for their specials!!!! $150 for a 30 day aged steak that tasted no better than a piece of low grade fresh Sirloin (pretty sure it wasn’t aged a day). They probably thought they can get away with it at the ultra low table lighting. ?and what is up with the 1 piece of pork rib garnish??? $180 for a plate of Halibut neck meat (disappointingly mixed in with filet) although sauce tasted good but not nearly worth the price. Seating was so tight, I swear my back had “arse burns” by the end of the whole dining experience. If you like your “fine/expensive dining experience” to feel like a loud rock and roll bar wreck? This is your overpriced cheap joint.. and be prepared to pay a minimum of 18% tip for amateur service! Worst $800 experience!

I can confidently say Liverpool House is one of the most delicious places in Montreal. If I may even dare, I’d say it’s even better than its brother Joe (sorry!) We ordered quite a bit and every single dish was impeccable. I’m still dreaming about that fish. The fries were so delicious too they were memorable. I need to go back ☺️
