★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vin Papillon is a good spot known for their wine list and creative smaller dishes. They do not take reservations and won’t seat you until all members of the party are present. The menu is only presented as below on the chalkboard (a concept I still don’t really understand, though appreciate for the environmental friendliness). The food was good and the service was excellent. We had ordered the Brussels sprouts and “beer cheese,” which turned out to be much too overpowering with a blue cheese taste, and without question the waiter removed it from the table and bill. Nice atmosphere!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great wine, food and service staff. Excellent date night or night on the town with friends if you’re looking for something a little more elevated. Share tapa plates and wine paring recommendations from our waiter. Very cool atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Called to make a reservation for 6 and was answered by an arrogant person who felt she was doing me a BIG favour by finding me a table. Once the reservation process was almost done, the representative of the restaurant asked for my credit card to validate my reservation, which I refused to give. This was the first time such a request was made to me and I kindly declined to go any further. It is quite evident that restaurants went through a hard time during Covid, however, I will not support restaurants that have such disrespect for their clients. Good luck in your future endeavours and instead my group of friends will gladly go to Mon Lapin where we are always well treated.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Marianne was our waitress and she was wonderful. My husband and I came in and asked her to surprise us with whatever food and wine she thinks we should have, and she delivered the most perfect meal. The rest of the staff were also so lovely as well.
Highly recommend this place overall; but I also recommend letting the staff guide you through a food journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Simply one of the best restaurant in Montréal! Really, never been disappointed. For food and wine lovers, this is a place that you would need to visit. Each plate is well prepared and thought. It is so nice to be able to share and try different dishes.
Nice outdoor terrasse. No reservations possible, so need to plan to get there early.
Magnifique restaurant. Jamais déçue. Florence notre serveuse a ajouté à cette belle expérience gustative avec ses recommandations de vin et sa gentillesse. On a passé une magnifique soirée!
