★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Little Falls Scenic Lookout is certainly worth a detour. It takes about twenty minutes to walk around this beautiful area. There are also picnic tables if you prefer to stay for a while. However, the location is rather difficult to find and the road leading to it is filled with nasty potholes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is a small hidden gem. This lookout is a small park a few minutes off the main highway.
Turn off the main highway going into Atikokan then there is a turn and you drive a gravel road that has a golf course on both sides. This road is about 1km and terminates at the Little Falls Scenic Lookout.
From the parking area you get a good view of the falls.
There is a path the will bring you across a small stream and much closer to the Falls for an even better view.
This would be a great place for a picnic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Wish I lived there, just fantastic fishing that can't be described accurate enough. Literally had a Northern Pike on the stringer take a swipe at the same lure that I caught him on in the first place. "Short memory!".
