โ โ โ โ โ Wonderful, fun, very child focused therapy. Any kid's dream! Staff care a lot about every child, and approaches allow a lot of freedom for the child to explore, control their own session, and exercise with all kinds of equipment.

โ โ โ โ โ I can't say enough about Alysha Paiaro. She exudes kindness, warmth and caring (not to mention competence.) She clearly has the depth and breadth of knowledge that you would look for in a pediatric OT. What sets her apart, beyond that, is her ability to truly listen and understand the concerns expressed in respect of the specific child that she is treating. I felt like my concerns were heard, understood and acted upon. She never ever rushed me and truly seemed to care about my child. The information that she provided in respect of my child and the issues that were raised was incredibly helpful.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to anyone!

โ โ โ โ โ We contacted Little Buddies when my child was 8 months and we were struggling with the introduction of solid foods. We had been exposing her to solid foods (both self feeding and spoon feeding) since she was 5 months but didn't feel like we were making progress. We wanted to see if there was anything we could do to help her be more comfortable eating and hopefully, consume a little more food.
From the moment we first made contact - we knew Little Buddies would be the right fit. Clare was really responsive and knowledgeable when we were booking in an assessment. They took the time to understand our challenges before booking an appointment. When we got to the centre, every person who interacted with our daughter got down to her eye level and played and made her comfortable, really setting us up for success as we tried to mimic our feeding environment at home.
We met with the OT, Keith, and after an assessment we left with a few "oral exercises" that we take a few minutes to do, and we do them while playing throughout the day. The "plan" seemed doable and not overwhelming at all.
A month later we are starting to see signs of progress - new sounds, more chewing and swallowing, and more consumption. We still have a ways to go - and there's lots of variability in how our meals go - but we have more confidence that she is set up for success. We also have a place to go if we run into challenges down the road.
We can't recommend Little Buddies enough and know that without their preventative, realistic approach, we wouldn't be where we are today.
