★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a fun place to be in the summer. You can cool off while watching the tubers drift to shore. It is a beautiful place to go in the winter as well.
In the winter, very few people go to little beach, which makes it a great place to think. The river rushes by so quickly in winter, the view and the sound become hypnotic.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very fun, slow time on a sunny warm day. There were about 4 little rapids but overall safe with kids. Be careful of the logs that stick out. There were few very shallow areas where you could get stuck. Took about 1.5 hours if you use your paddles otherwise 2-3 hours.
