G	Gina Hole Lazarowich on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a BAD experience in the end, Linwood really let us down, vetted the worst possible builder for us and then when that guy messed up, they refused to give our ‘deposit on materials’ back, even though we hadn’t ordered anything! We lost about $11,000 dollars to them due to a line in their contract and had to go with another company to get our house built...we highly recommend Pacific Homes.

My husband and I went with the Charlescroft model for our second home, in Whistler. We absolutely love the rich cedar interior. The post and beam details are unlike anything you'd find on the market. The high, vaulted ceilings coupled with the prow windows are really something. There were so many models to choose from, and you can create your own custom designs as well. Linwood homes made our dream a reality, highly recommended!

I contacted Brad early in the process and he was a valuable source of information as we considered the ifs and hows. We looked at other options but ultimately chose Brad and Linwood for a number of reasons, including a good home design with easy customizations, as well as the holistic support Brad offered, not only in the Linwood purchase itself but in the process and contacts needed to initiate the build. Sam Clark, our Linwood rep at the Delta, BC office has taken care of us from day one with guidance, patience, professionalism, sincerity, insight, keen knowledge of the product and a genuine interest in getting our project done right. Sam has saved us from making a few design alteration errors along the way as well (roof lines, I am looking at you!). He worked with us in research, background and interviews in selecting a builder all the way across the country, and communicates with them ongoing, to ensure they have the materials and knowledge they need to build our home in a remote location 3,500 miles away. We are nothing but pleased with Linwood Homes. Our experience has been all positive. The designs are excellent, and the package of drawings they gave us got planning consent in three days, which is astonishingly fast. The design was more or less 'build ready', and the finished house is beautiful. The support from the Linwood sales team is excellent, but we had some 'issues' with customer service from some of their technical people, where the customer care offered did not match the $300k price tag. Still, good product, don't regret using them

We collaborated on a new design and they even came out to see the potential site to make sure we were aligning our design with the lot. The result is a timeless family cottage. To further add to the story, our son Tyler was part of the build team on our place and then went on to build more Linwood homes in the area. He had such a passion for the product that he was brought on as the newest part of the sales team. So, if you are looking for a custom home, he can speak from experience on the building and the living in a Linwood!

Conceptualization, design, planning, delivery were all done seamlessly and to my complete satisfaction. This time around however, we only received 80% of the materials needed to complete the house framing. The custom painted pine soffits were also 50% defective and had to be replaced / refinished onsite costing 10s of thousands in additional expenses. Cost savings appear no longer there (pending claim status for but a small portion of the incurred loss), as they had been in the past. Shop local.
