โ โ โ โ โ 35 Years ago Lorry and I purchased a summer home on the Canadian Lakeshore. It was a 70 year old home that was indeed a "Fixer upper". At that time we decided to start a renovation and our architect suggested we contact Sider Brothers. Carlton and Leonard soon came on board as our contractors. I remember Carlton often bringing his youngest son Shawn, to assist his him and his brother Wayne tin helping us with normal maintenance on our lawn. In over 35 years the Sider Brothers have been the only contractor we have ever used. Besides our own home, they have built our pool, pool house, our son's house, and our guest apartment. we have been so totally pleased with their work that we again chose them last year to build a new home for us. Obviously this says a lot about their work, but more so it says a great deal about them personally. Sider Brothers are our builders of choice, but more importantly they are our friends. โ โ โ โ โ When my wife and I thought about taking down our old house on Lake Erie in Ontario, that had been in my family for a century and building a new one, we were a bit nervous. We had never built a home; always redid existing ones. The first builder we asked to come and give us ideas was Sider Bros. They have a great reputation in the area of Ontario where we spend our summers. Sean Sider came over and gave us his opinion on rebuild versus redoing.He then took us to see some homes that he had built. After seeing the quality in these homes, we looked no further. From the planning and design process with Nicole to the very end was a great experience. Sean was very attentive to the details. They listened to all the things we wanted in our beach house and we couldn't have been happier with the results. Everyone on sight working was so nice and respectful and they went above and beyond with precise attention to detail. Amazing carpentry! We were so pleased. Also have to say the paint job was impeccable. Matt did a great job. So accommodating! Anytime you would call with a question they would get back to you the same day. They are like family! Great, great experience.

โ โ โ โ โ Shawn Sider and the team at Sider Bros. do extraordinary work. They finished our basement and remodeled our kitchen and living room, and we could not be more pleased with the experience and the finished product. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is without peer. Apart from the work they perform themselves, they have terrific relationships with an array of talented and dependable suppliers and tradespeople. We would recommend them without hesitation and intend to use them for our next home improvement project.

โ โ โ โ โ The workmanship is first class, and his crew and sub-contractors are among the best trades people in the Niagara Region.
He came in almost to the penny to original estimate; we did go over budget, but I can account for every cent going only into upgrade choices on materials of construction. I was impressed.
Responding to concerns- I always received some response the same day, even just to say when he would be respond fully; generally he was waiting on me.
I value him for his honesty, consistency and respect for the dignity of others; he can be firm and forceful with his people.
I'm an engineer, to me the best part of this house was covered in drywall; my wife disagrees, she adores the trim and built-in furniture.

โ โ โ โ โ We are very pleased with Sider Brothers extensive restoration of our Victorian lake house. There were many unique construction challenges associated with the restoration and Shawn always came up with excellent solutions.
Several different crews worked on the project and they have all been very pleasant, efficient, flexible, and honest. When working inside the house, they were very considerate.
Sider Brothers' work is always very high quality and we would highly recommend them.

โ โ โ โ โ Sider Brothers built our bungalow on the shore of Lake Erie two and a half years ago. Our project was modest relative to many of their other ventures. Nonetheless we were treated as VIPs. The entire build from conception through design and construction was positive and the end result exceeded our expectations. Words that describe the experience are accommodating, quality, high standards and attention to detail.
They were sensitive to our needs and it was apparent that their interest was in building the home we wanted. They always responded to our wants and wishes with a positive โcan and will doโ approach throughout.
Every person associated with the project was conscientious and brought an elevated level of professionalism and delivered quality work and craftsmanship.
