Lindgren Seeds is owned by Jordan and Jennifer Lindgren, located in Norquay, Sask.
At Lindgren Seeds we pride ourselves on expanding our knowledge of ways to improve farming practices so we can continue to produce high quality pedigree seed. One of the ways we improve is to put the different varieties, genetics and products through large scale field trials. This allows us to compare the different varieties and practices to implement them on our own farm and share this information with our customers.
In the 2020 season we produced; six hard red spring wheat varieties;AAC Magnet, AAC Leroy VB, CDC Landmark VB, AAC Viewfield, AAC Elie and AAC Alida VB. Our top yielding varieties were AAC Leroy VB and AAC Viewfield.Arborg oats performed well in production and standability.We increased our pulse acres with AAC Chrome yellow peas which provided great standability, harvestability and yield.
