In my opinion, Dr. Lynne Murfin MD is one of the finest in Calgary. They use cutting edge information and treatments with a team approach, so you get the brilliant care of integrated open minds. I was diagnosed with Major Depression 15 years ago. As conventional medicine only offered the counseling piece and the bandage that is anti-depressants, my condition began to worsen until I also developed Fibromyalgia. I knew in my bones that my body was on a path of destruction and I feared a future of Cancer and Dementia. A friend kindly recommended Dr. Lynne Murfin and my health and life is now radically changing. I FINALLY have my root cause diagnosis (CIRS) and I have been doing all recommended treatments with various practitioners including Dr. Michelle, Dr. Hong and Kelly Ashton. My body is healing. My energy is returning, my stabbing gut pains are gone and my headaches have lessened. With my physical health on the mend I can now focus on stepping into my life purpose and being the being I came here to be. I saw on another review that the pricing is high. And yes, it is. But they have also compassionately built out pricing layers to open up care access. The fact that Functional/Integrative medicine currently has to be private care is a sign that our health care system needs updating. My dream is for all health practitioners to open-mindedly work together. For government funds to be spent proactively to prevent massive chronic care spending later. And for everyone who is working to prevent chronic illness, to have access to funding. For now, I know that I am meant to invest in my care because it is my ultimate job to be well and alive for my kids, my spouse and all my loved/loving ones. If you want genuine care, support, commitment and expertise that you can trust - don't think about it too much or the excuses will take hold. Find the funds, book yourself a consult, do the work and watch all your pieces fall into place. It's magic. PS: Are you curious to know why they use cutting edge info? Because many of the practitioners there have themselves been very sick and had to look at unconventional methods to heal themselves. Interesting isn't it? PPS: Based on my health costs last year, I am expected to receive 25% back on my taxes, and I have been utilizing our family benefits plan including our Health Spending Account. Honestly, the best medical care you will get in Calgary (or maybe even Western Canada). Dr. Lynne Murfin is a brilliant physician who has immense compassion for her patients and shows that in how she has curated this clinic. You can feel the nurturing energy as soon as you walk through the doors and work with any one woman within the clinic (yes, it's an entire clinic of women - how amazing)! The doctors: you won't find a physician here that just 'gives you a pill'. They all do extensive blood work and other testing to actually find the ROOT CAUSE of what ails you. They actually listen to you to understand how you got to where you are in your health journey. These women work tirelessly doing research and investigating how to make you better and don't accept 'that's how it's always been done' as an acceptable answer and understand that the entire body is connected. I've personally had the pleasure of working with Dr. Lynne, Dr. Michelle, and briefly Dr. Hong and each one is brilliant, has an exceptional personality, and provides the best patient care I've ever received. The thing I like most about the clinic is they have many practitioners so all my care can be in one place and everyone's on the same page regarding me, the patient. The IV nurses are the best I've ever had;the acupuncture treatments, the lymphatic drainage massage is all superior to what I've had in the past. The medical office assistants are the ones helping out on the front end and are helpful and kind - even when you have a difficult request or are not feeling well and are a little grumpy. Every single woman you meet in this clinic, no matter their position, has been hand selected by a doctor that seen a need for holistic patient care that was never fulfilled in Calgary before. Thank you Dr. Murfin for fulfilling this obvious need and for helping those of us that weren't helped through conventional medicine. Also: the Cleanest clinic I've ever seen in my life. That makes me feel so good all in its own.

Dr Lynne Murfin and her staff provide exceptional care. Many of my stubborn, chronic health issues have resolved, and I continue to maintain my health with yearly visits. I'm incredibly grateful to Dr. Murfin as I have discovered that functional medicine gets to the root where true healing began for me.
