Not what it used to be. We went there after it had closed due to new owners of the building. Not sure what was going on but there was only one person working there... one in the front and the back on a Friday night. It took 20 minutes JUST to get drinks ordered. It took another 30 to actually get the drinks. My grandma wanted water so that never actually came. It was over an hour to get food... oh and we were the only group in at the time. There were plenty of orders to pick up but we were the only ones actually there for table service. There were no renovations that we could see from the new owners. We won't be going back ever. It gets 2 stars because the food was decent but the service was awful. I know it can be tough coming back open after a few months off but this used to be one of the best reasons to visit Lumsden for dinner.

If you have not been to this place you got to go! One of the best Chinese food restaurants I have ever been to. I have been to every popular Chinese restaurant in Regina and surrounding areas and Lindas Place is my favorite. I drive from Regina regularly to come get Chinese food here. And I love that they use real ginger in there ginger beef.

I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service from the owner of this business. I had been given a gift certificate that was purchased over a year ago (gift certificates do not expire in Canada, and Saskatchewan has made a law to protect us. This is what I found in doing some quick research "In an effort to ensure that consumers get what they pay for, the Saskatchewan Government passed legislation on November 10, 2008, prohibiting expiry dates on all prepaid purchase cards and banning inactivity or dormancy fees that reduce the value of the cards for all cards bought or sold in Saskatchewan", additionally the only way a business can expire a gift certificate is if they go out of business). I live in Regina, ordered food, advised the owner I would be using a gift certificate to pay, and made my way out to Lumsden. When I arrived, she said that she couldn't accept the gift certificate because it was purchased before she bought the business from the previous owner. I asked her, why she didn't advise me of that when I told her I would be using the gift card to pay and she couldn't answer that. I advised her of the consumer protection law that is stated above, and she refused to honour it. She made me call the old owner, to see if they could honour it and the old owner did not answer their phone. After arguing with her for some time about her doing the right thing, I ended up leaving without the food I ordered, and a worthless piece of paper that someone paid $50 for. In my opinion, a business should not be allowed to steal from their customers, and sometimes, you need to write small of money amounts off, in order to keep a customer and ensure the business is behaving ethically. Unfortunately I will NEVER be coming back to this place because of the way I was treated, and I would recommend that the new owner take some training in customer service, and review the laws regarding consumer protection!

Stopped in on my way home after doing some hiking in the bush with my son and a friend. The Pad Thai was excellent best i have ever had, my friend had a combo plate and could not say enough about it. My son well he went for the cheese burger and fries but he still loved it lol.

We just pick our family dinner. Such a cold night, and we couldn't cook, we run in her place, we have been treated royal. The chefs brought us food to the car, such a generous family. Was closed to closing literally and yet they serve us. 5 star was maximum but I give to this family Restaurant a20 stars

We had a pleasant visit with fast service and delicious food. The deep fried Wonton had a good amount of filling, which is rare. Our Vermicelli bowls were very delicious. Nice crispy French fries for the kid.

I received a delicious meal with friendly service. The vegetables were crisp, the steamed buns robust, and the Kung Pao chicken was terrific. Do your face a favour and give this place a call.

From the call to the pickup. The staff is patient and understanding. They will get you what you like if you ask politely. Overall time frame was good and the meal was ready fairly fast. The food we got looked healthy and colorful (stir fried rice w vegetables) When we took a bite it was warm and flavorful. Also impressed by the size for the prize. They even gave us a free pop drink. Thank you :) Happy spring. May 2021
