β β β β β Stale, hard , so much rice no meat. Spicy tuna and salmon had no meat in at abs to make it spicy , was just squirted with some spicy mayo on top. The shrimp tempura was tough, was 3/4 of the tempura batter and a small thin over cooked shrimp in centre

β β β β β Ordered from this restaurant before with good results but this time not only did the sushi smell very pungent but there were bugs inside it. I didn't realize anything was off before eating 3 pieces and got very ill.

β β β β β We had a great experience. There was a sign in the main entrance explaining that they were short staffed due to COVID. The staff was literally running around trying their absolute best. They were friendly and clearly working their butts off. The food was great. It always came out very quickly, tasted fresh, and portions were big. The Canadian roll was something new we tried and it was amazing! I admire small business during these tough times, just trying to do their best to stay afloat.

β β β β β I've been to this restaurant about 3 times prior. Really great food and selections. Better to order early as food may come out slow if it's busy. Great tasting fish but sushi does fall apart sometimes even when being gentle in picking it up.

β β β β β The staff at Diamond Sushi were lovely, but the service was sadly very slow. It was clear that they prioritize the take-out orders over dine-in, which I suppose is expected in this climate. We waited about 20 minutes before water was brought to our table & I was a little disappointed in food quality. The rice was over cooked, the spicy mayo tasted like ketchup & the kani salad was 95% cucumber (pictured). The salmon & tempura was absolutely delicious. Iβve still yet to try all sushi restaurants in Barrie, but this one does not rank in my top 5.

β β β β β Ordered from Uber eats. it was a truly disgusting experience. They just put a few uncut vegetables in the container for green saladοΌand it doesnβt look fresh.
Also, they put a extra dirty empty container ( itβs obviously used) in my order! ( I received everything that I ordered, so it is not possible that the delivery guy ate my food and left empty container in my bag).
I donβt really understand why the restaurant put a dirty used container in my order.
Yuck!

β β β β β Sushi was good. Online ordering was seamless. Service in restaurant was not friendly.
βPad Thai with peanutsβ was terrible, not a peanut in sight. The sauce tasted like watered down plum sauce mixed with ketchup. Very salty. Tasted nothing like pad Thai. And the chicken was VERY rubbery. Worst takeout experience Iβve had in a long time.
Buuuuut my husband was very happy with the sushi. So if youβre looking for anything other than sushi, Iβd say go elsewhere. But if you want sushi, youβll probably be happy with their stuff.

β β β β β Late post! I ordered from here on Christmas Day. The service was friendly and fast. The sushi quality was fresh. I pre-ordered earlier in the day but had to do a earlier pick up time and they accommodated my last minute change of plan. They told me it would be ready in 20mins. The price was great and both my fiance and I were so full! I will definitely be back!
