C	Carolynn Roberts on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do not trust. Get bill in writing BEFORE signing anything!! Bank recommended for our refinancing. At virtual signing she indicated there were lots of extra fees because of the way the bank wanted her to handle the deal. She said if done differently it would be about $995 plus tax; we rescheduled and settled details with bank. Before 2nd meeting to sign she sent us notice about this $995 plus tax fee. We signed for mortgage on a Thurs with $$ to be in our account next Tues (she was to close one mortgage, open the other, and tell the bank to release remaining balance of $$) . On Tues (4 business days AFTER we signed) she sent an updated notice the fee was $1600 including taxes and including mysterious "disbursements" (no details provided to us nor the bank); she would not release funds to bank unless we agreed to pay. She told us the bank was "lying" about asking her for details about the invoice, she "knew we weren't listening" about the costs and accused us of "trying to get a deal" after the fact. No notary should be billing AFTER signing, and no refinancing should cost more than $1000. So be wary.... get final bill in advance and make sure she provides good details about her charges. (Neither the bank nor us know what those additional "disbursement" charges are). After talking to thr bank, she finally "agreed to reduce" her fee to what she had told us.

Our most recent transaction was extremely complicated and if it were not for Linda's dedication to upholding the law, we would likely not have closed. Extremely professional and available to provide clients with advice when needed. Beyond grateful to have chosen her and would absolutely use her services in future transactions.

Never responds to emails, between myself and my husband, dozens of requests and follow ups went unanswered and ignored my lawyer’s letter. The deed of sale was received weeks later after I reached out for it, while the office didn’t bother sending it by registered mail but requested that I pick it up in person after waiting outside for over 15 min. The last straw that pushed me to write this review was the failure to forward the certificate of location (produced last month) that I have reached out for a week ago with another follow-up two days later, while my contractor needs it to apply for building permits. Needless to say that I have dealt with numerous notaries, but never did I have such a poor and unprofessional experience as this one.

She will overcharge you and then when you ask for an explanation of the charges as well as to see the documents before payment, she will repeatedly ignore your request and threaten you with 9% interest fees! We used her for the closing on our condo and she gave us extremely bad advice regarding our tenant living in the property. This notary knows nothing about Regie du Logement regulations -Find yourself another notary and you will get better service and pay less.

Quick Feedback, at first, I was not too familiar with all the legal terms , but she always took the time to explain different scenarios to help me understand. She was recommended to me by a friend and I would recommend her anytime to others. Her offices are Covid friendly and she can also provide Zoom calls. All in all, excellent experience.

When my father was sick with Alzheimer Linda was involved in homologating my father's mandate. If it wasn't for her I would have had serious problems. Linda's service was excellent. As for cost I honestly don't know since I never compared cost or went somewhere else for these services. When you are dealing with large amounts of money I feel it is more important to use the services of someone who has a proven track record than looking for a discount. That said, I feel her rates were reasonable. I highly recommend her services.
