Solid place to go for XLB and szechuan food. Prices are reasonable and lunch specials are good bang for your buck (comes with soup and rice). Beef roll is better than Peaceful's beef roll. Overall would recommend if you're in the mood for some Chinese food in that neighborhood.

They gave me the wrong item with my takeout order that I did not order so I paid for a more expensive item but was given something cheaper. I ordered the pumpkin pastry, they gave me dumplings instead. The Tan Tan noodle was very average, the best dish was Beijing style chicken fenpi.

Food was delicious. It impressed my friend who is an easy critic. There is also a friendly atmosphere because the banter in the restaurant is obvious the staff are dear to customers. They do accept Credit Cards.

Great food. Port chop noodle, xlb, corn soup all taste traditional and delicious! Will come again.

Friendly staff, felt like we were served by a very kind grandma. Decoration is old-fashioned Chinese restaurant style, which is soothing when you just want a quick meal with no fluff. The tea duck was delicious! Tasted like filet d'anvers smoked with juicy texture, crispiness of the skin was great. The buns were perfect to balance the dish. Wonton soup and grilled buns filling were too meaty for me, the flavours were not so balanced.

With the closure of Ningtu in East Van, Lin is now our go to place for Shanghai cuisine. All the dishes are authentic bursting with deep flavours. Some of our favourites continue to be the xiao long bao with paper thin wrap (handmade in front of your eyes), Beijing style meat-stuffed handmade pastry, wonton in spicy garlic sauce and the pan fried cake with marinated beef. Prices are reasonably priced with very attentive, friendly service.

Service was great and friendly. Food came out quickly and was really tasty. I got the noodle soup with braised beef and the noodles I think were had pulled which is a nice feature to the dish. Also the dumplings I got were made in house also which I think made them much better. Good potions for the price also.

Dropped by for lunch and ordered beijing style fenpi, beef wrap and xiaolongbao. Soooo yummy. I couldn't get enough of the fenpi. The sauce had a delicious nutty flavor, slightly sweet and sour and savory. Combined with the chewy noodles and refreshingly crunchy cucumber this dish was a real winner. The beef roll was so delicious as well. The xiaolongbao was very similar to others I've had at chinese restaurants; juicy, flavorful and full of meaty goodness. The service was very friendly and prompt. I'm definitely bringing my family and friends here to try other dishes!
