The Ole’ Farmhouse Café is owned and operated by a wife, and mother of three lovely children. Originally from the West Coast, with a Mennonite background, she has had the opportunity to explore many different cultures and acquired a passion for cuisine. This passion has allowed her to strive for creating the best dishes with the most tantalizing flavors. The Ole’ Farmhouse Café embraces the amenities of a restaurant, with all the warm comforts of home, creating the most unique atmosphere.

The last one in particular was great, even though it was busy we were found a seat within a few minutes, were served almost immediately and received our food within five minutes of placing our order. I was very impressed. I have also noticed an improvement in the friendliness of the serving staff.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I attended high tea here and what a wonderful experience! The food was very delicious, they had a nice variety of tea to choose from, and the overall atmosphere was so lovely. From peeking at the lunchtime menu I'll have to make a stop for lunch sometime!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went for breakfast and I really enjoyed my food. Coffee was awesome, I had a cappuccino with my omlette. I would definitely recommend this place for some country style food. Service was very friendly, I would go again. The picture is how the main entrance looks outside.

My friends and I visited during the summer to take in the High Tea.
When we arrived, we were guided to our private room upstairs. We were blown away when we entered the room. Our table setting was so beautiful.
Although bite sized, the food was absolutely divine and very filling! After we finished our High Tea, we browsed around the cafe at the different items available by different local artisans.
The Ole' Farmhouse Cafe offers a truly unique experience, and I cannot wait to return!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Ole' Farmhouse Cafe, recently renamed to Lily Stone Cafe, is a small little cafe in the middle of Rosenort aka the middle of nowhere, but it is a gem.
The atmosphere inside is welcoming and feels like home (aside from the seating areas). There is lots of food options, drink options and local handmade products to buy.
