Had the good fortune of locating a vehicle I was interested in purchasing at Rosenort Motors. Tanner who was our sales advisor who was easy to deal with, friendly, personable, knowledgeable and professional. We purchased the vehicle and will definitely look forward to dealing with them again. We purchase a vehicle every 3 - 4 years so we have had plenty of experience dealing with many dealerships in Manitoba, Sask. and Alberta. Thanks again Tanner.

Great place to do business with. Bought a great used truck cap from Tanner. Great to deal with and they helped me install it onsite. Seems like they sell everything here, check them out! Thanks for the great service guys. Will check back soon when looking upgrading my mower!

I want to start by saying my experiences with a used vehicle from Rosenort Motors is over the course of a year. May of 2021 I bought a used (low mileage) 2011 Honda Ridgeline that has had one issue after another in the past year. At this point, I fear putting any miles on it, for fear that something else will break. My TOC (total cost of ownership) is a nightmare. There are many issues.. some of them are detailed in this review. Unexplained issue with low Transmission fluid that caused dreadful shifting. (3 Litres missing in a tank of 8 Litres). Thank goodness my mechanic found it before significant damage was caused. Although he has warned me that I am likely looking at a new transmission soon. (Estimate $4,000-$6,000) Struts went within 5 months of purchase. $1,200 touch. Garnish (3rd brake light panel) flew off and cost $1,000 to repair. This garnish was a problem when I bought the truck, but at the time I didn’t know what the whistling sound was, until it was too late. It is a bad design by Honda and documented issues with this panel on the Ridgeline Forums. Radio and antenna are still a problem since purchase and were never dealt with. Paint needed to be repaired. The mileage was a total nightmare. 19.9 litres/100km. One key broke in the ignition and the other Key was screwed together to keep the plastic covers attached. I asked for but didn’t receive the service record. I paid a very dear price for this vehicle and buying it from a dealer, I had the impression that it would be a safe vehicle, and after reading these reviews, I felt it was a good decision to spend my pension money at Rosenort. Tanner DID arrange to provide some financial compensation for the multitude of issues, which I appreciated, as there was a 50/50 warranty for 90 days. In retrospect, the warranty is much too short for a used vehicle that was already overpriced, but the market was sweet on trucks at the time, so there was no negotiation on price. I made a huge mistake of giving my A+ vehicle away as a trade in. Word to the wise.. do NOT trade in your vehicle. You will get a much better return on your investment if you sell it yourself. I lost over $5,000 by trading in my vehicle. That just makes my angst worse when I keep paying for truck repairs, knowing I gave away my car that was in showroom condition with service records, brand new manuals, new winter tires with rims, brand new key fobs, etc etc. On the drive home, when I had buyers remorse and wanted to return the truck, Tanner said, β€œjust keeping driving it”. I should have turned around right then and driven it back to Rosenort Motors. I should have followed my gut. The staff are friendly though. I believe Tanner did whatever was in his power to do, in respect of customer service. I have to believe that Rosenort Motors didn’t know this vehicle was such a lemon when they sold it to me.

I bought a Simplicity zero turn mower from Rosenort Motors. It was definitely worth the 40 minute drive to deal with them. Tanner was very knowledgeable about the product and showed me the differences between Simplicity and other brands. I originally bought a 42 inch with a bagger attachment but then after reassessing my property I decided that a 48 inch would be better suited so they allowed me to return the 42 inch and exchange it for the bigger one. Then their mechanic Phil took the time to mount the bagger to my larger unit but had to make special mounts in order to fit it to the mower while I waited rather than making me drive back to Winnipeg and return later. Then a week later I returned with the mower having decided that I didn't want the bagger attachment after all and asked them to take the bagger off. Tanner was very accommodating throughout my wish washy purchasing process and wanted to make sure I was totally satisfied with my purchase even though all this was taking place while their shop was very busy with spring business. They gave me a full refund and only charged me a nominal fee for the labour. Needless to say, I am a very happy customer and would highly recommend Rosenort Motors for your purchase and for the after sales service. These small town business people still know how to treat a customer like a person not just a number. And on a side note, the Simplicity mower is an excellent machine that I also recommend.

I am so impressed by Rosenort Motors! Tanner has been especially fantastic!! Although I live an hour away, my vehicle was delivered to my door. When I thought I had an issue, they came & picked it up, leaving a courtesy vehicle for me. Amazing service! I would HIGHLY recommend Tanner & the crew at Rosenort Motors!! Thank you for everything!!

I purchased an LR45 Mandako Roller from them, and start to finish was a great experience. I’m 1,100 miles from them, but they treated me just like a neighbor, rollers were even delivered early. Great staff!
