Using ingredients flown in daily from as far as eastern Canada and even Japan, Lighthouse offers only the freshest traditional and fusion sushi, tempura, katsu and much more. An extensive and varied sushi and sashimi menu appeals to both the tame and adventurous – Lighthouse offers everything from traditional Futomaki rolls to Rainbow and Sunset Rolls. To help meet the needs of all guests, Lighthouse also offers several gluten-free items as well as gluten-free soy sauce and a peanut-free dinner menu.

Chef Yukinari Takahashi, the man behind Lighthouse’s menu for the past five years, completed his apprenticeship and journeyman training in Japan and brings 25 years of experience to the kitchen. Under Yukinari’s careful guidance, Lighthouse’s signature sushi is given the authentic attention it deserves, and all sauces are made in-house and from scratch.

β β β β β I donβt recommend this place if you want authentic taste or attention to detail. I was shocked to see their signature roll that costs $14.25 was very small and plain. I also ordered two dinner sets for take out and both were missing the miso soup. Disappointed and will not return. Highly recommend you go to Dono Sushi instead. You get better value for your money, it tastes very fresh, and their attention to detail and presentation is a night and day difference.

β β β β β Ordered for delivery because I have had their sushi once before, a year ago, and it was delicious and fresh. I was very disappointed with my most recent order though. The avocado was grey not green in every single piece. Would no longer recommend for fresh sushi.

β β β β β 1. Food: we ordered sashimi and rolls. Sashimi is fresh and probably best in town; rolls are fresh and tasty. Overall, fresh and quality ingredients! 2. Service: fresh air and friendly service. 3. Price is a bit higher compared with other J restaurants, but quality lives up to it.

β β β β β This place was very lovely and welcoming. The quality of the sushi was great, however the portion size was not that large. Cost was average. This wasnβt an all you can eat place. The seafood tasted clean and more fresh than other places I have tried in Lethbridge. The chicken bowl was flavourful with a good sauce to rice ratio. Chicken tasted fresh and moist. We finished it off which some ice cream and the green tea ice cream was delicious and perfectly sweetened. The server was very kind and knowledgeable. This is the place to go if you want to sit down with a friend for a quick bite. I also had a chance to try their appletini which was pleasantly delightful.
