★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I went in to get tested, for my stomach.
No one told me how to get my results, just "the app" or that I needed a number to do so. A number they are suppose to give you, a number I was not given! so I wasted time on the app (I disslike apps, now even more so) and calling just to find out that unless you, *remember the number they are suppose to give you, *your Drs name(if you go to a walk in clinic like I did, write it down) and *the date you went for testing (no on told me this tid bit either) that you cannot get your results back! The new system is not easy to use if your not up on modern tech b.s. and so bloody organized writing everything down.
Very bothered by this.
**Note to anyone experiencing this, if you too are a first time lifelabs user, save yourself the b.s and call your Dr for your results.
Had to vent this one out, now thanks to the only competent human that speaks english and not app language I can go on with my day knowing my results.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Poor communication, inefficient delivery of service, and negative staff. The office would benefit from more staff, and proper management. Bring a hand wipe if you are concerned about seating in the waiting room - only the booths are wiped down after each client under COVID protocols.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Unwanted as a walk-in, unable to book an appointment online because the site freezes, the 1-800 service number answers my call then disconnects, tells me to try later...for a whole week. Staff are rude. What the hell happened? New management of the horrible variety?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My son tried 3 different times to get a simple blood test - sent away lack of staff even though only 2 person before him, tried booking via site and showed up again turned away lack of staff with only a small sign at the office not on site. What's going on at this place? He is now giving up and doesn't know what to do? An appointment is an appointment? Apparently not in Sooke.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ No appointments available to book for a month. Walk in was 2 hr wait in rural Sooke so drove twice for nothing. What has happened to our health care in BC? Maybe time for special fast labs for our seniors and disabled!
