Staff give you little to no directions or they leave out important info you should know. Now I have to start all over again and they still didn’t give straight to the point details.

Facility was dirty. Waited over 20 minutes even though an appointment was booked. Staff is not professionally dressed. Could not tell if they just came from a yoga class, a camping trip or a wiener roast. Washroom was lacking supplies and filthy.

When now we can access our heath records on phones, and doctors send tests requests digitally, LifeLabs still asks for paper copy of the requests, that’s ridiculous. I have seen people from all age groups, from young kids to old seniors, some with walking disabilities come to LifeLabs and sent away just to come back with a paper copy of the test requests. Why can’t they accepts email copies or help print out one for their clients, who are actually giving the business to them. Like this even doesn’t even make sense, they are causing hardships for the patients who are already going through a lot. How come no one has ever voiced a concern over this practice. We are living in a digital age and these people are forcing us to go find a printer and get a paper copy, some clients are not even from this town, and they have to drive around just to find a place to print their request. What a waste of a valuable time. Something had to be done about this soon.

Their website says that they are open Saturday and Sunday. Their answering machine says they’re are closed both days. I’m glad that I called first before going to the Lab on Saturday! P.S. LifeLabs doesn’t seem to care about their bad reviews. They can’t be bothered to respond to clients’ experiences.

Even though they were busy, I could tell that they are extremely efficient and work so hard and diligently. I came at a good time for a walk-in, so I recommend you check their online wait times (and book an appointment if necessary). Very impressed!

terrible. horrific even. went to get blood work done, had a young, dirty blonde, glasses wearing women. she couldn’t find the vein on my preferred arm so she went to the other. after getting the needle in, it took her countless minutes to fill 4/6 tubes. by the time she finished the fourth i was already in tears. at this point, she just handed me off to another nurse cause she couldn’t get anymore blood out. a male nurse came in and did the remaining two tubes in less than 30 seconds. he was great, left my other arm pain free. while the one that the young girl poked at is currently left in such pain that i cannot extend my arm. terrible place, am not planning on EVER coming back.

Found online booking to be very illogical to navigate so booked on the phone. I showed up 5 mins before my appointment time was greeted promptly and pleasantly and sent to a room. I sat for 30 mins and watched many people that where not there when I walked in get served and leave. When some one finally came to my room I actually had to ask if she worked there as she was wearing a bunny hug and what appeared to be yoga pants. I gets i was just there to get a blood test but would have thought they would have been wearing scrubs or something that was a bit more medical looking. The whole experience just left me wondering if they would even do the testing correctly. Do your self a favour and find a different lab

Very unprofessional. I walked in with my young son so he could give a sample. Three ladies at the front desk, one is seated, one on her phone and head in the clouds and the third is sitting on top of the filing cabinet and hawks at us like we ruined her day by coming in for our appointment at the end of the day Friday. She didn’t even stand up to “help us” she opened the drawer using her foot while still seated as the lady on her phone grabbed a sample cup. “Bathroom is that way” was all that was said as I was passed the cup. We did our thing and left. I feel like we were given less attention and service than I can ever remember to be honest. For a medical professional business, I 1000% have to say I feel more attended to and noticed and well served in a pot store than this hole…… I wish I would have waited in line at the clinic….
