For anyone who is looking for a pelvic physiotherapist, I would highly recommend Jagisha! I have seen mulitple pelvic physiotherapists and none have been as knowledgeable as Jagisha. I have experienced significant changes with my pelvic floor since working with her and so happy I was able to find her!

I had exactly the same experience with acupuncture as the person who posted below. There was barely any communication and I had the feeling that he did not listen to me. He massaged me for a couple of minutes, does moxibustion and then puts needles in my feet. Then he left me for 40 - 45 minutes (sometimes I got cold). Most of the time I felt uncomfortable. After 3-4 times receiving the same session, I tried acupuncture elsewhere in Ottawa and boy do I feel lucky. Now I realize how little value I received with these acupuncture sessions at Life Therapies.

Arrived on time with my newborn, who is cluster feeding at 5 weeks, and she promptly started to cry to nurse as soon as we entered the building and prepaid the $90 fee. A gentleman, that I later found out was the owner, came out to inform me that my daughter was hungry… Which I was well aware of and frankly was quite condescending. I found a chair in a non-private area by the exit and was about to nurse her, when the owner again informed me that my daughter was hungry… At this point I was getting very insulted. As if I wasn’t aware that my daughter was hungry and trying to find somewhere to feed her. He then told me I could go into an empty room to nurse. I spent about 15 minutes in there waiting for someone to come get me for my appointment. Finally, the craniosacral specialist came down and brought me up to her office. She told me that she could’ve been treating my daughter the entire time that she was nursing! But the owner put me in a different room and essentially used up all of my time for nothing. She treated my daughter for about 10 minutes before telling me that her time was up. I essentially paid $90 to be insulted by the owner, put in the wrong space, and for someone to see my daughter for 10 minutes- only to tell me that I’ll have to go on a cancellation list to be seen again. While the specialist, Kim, was quite nice and professional, I feel ripped off and insulted. I will not be rebooking here.*** update: The office called me after seeing my review and offered me a complementary appointment to make up for the missed appointment and apologized on behalf of the staff. I appreciate their follow-up and apology and will be giving them a second chance.

I have been going to Life Therapies for over a year to treat my migraines and TMJ. I see Jagisha regularly for physiotherapy and cannot express more how appreciative I am to have found her and this clinic. I have struggled with migraines my whole life and sought many different types of treatments and nothing has helped like the manual physiotherapy treatment and recommended stretches provided by Jagisha. Jagisha goes above and beyond to treat my symptoms, ask questions/discuss possible causes and show/explain exercises to do at home.The clinic works as a collaborative team where I am sometimes referred to a massage therapist (who have also all been amazing!). The reception staff and owners are also super friendly and professional. Would HIGHLY recommend this clinic.

I have received several massage treatments from Katrina at Life Therapies. All have been the best I have received, bar none. She is a skilled and knowledgeable professional who can treat my muscle pain effectively and make me feel relaxed even while she treats the most painful areas. Her advice for home care help the improvements remain for weeks after treatment. She is an excellent therapist, and the lovely office and solid administrative staff at Life Therapies help cement the experience as definitively five star.

All of the practitioners and office staff at Life Therapies are very professional, warm and attentive to their clients. It is a very welcoming environment for new and regular clients. I have had excellent treatments from Tamara for a lower body injury which was difficult to isolate but she quickly identified it and what we had to do to fix it. I am very thankful that Elliot introduced me to Osteopathy and even more so with the many benefits I receive from my regular appointments with him. This business has definitely enhanced my quality of life!

Best thing you can ever do for yourself is go to Life Therapies. Osteopathic therapy improves my life incredibly, and I cannot imagine how much more pain I would be in if not for Elliot Vlad.

Excellent clinic, I have required a lot of post surgery physio over the past number of years and Tamara has been excellent. Not just at the treatment, but the follow up exercise routine and sharing info with RMT to ensure I get the most out of these sessions. Great job Life Therapies!
