About Leon's Manufacturing

It all started here in 1952. The birthplace of the current LEON’s Manufacturing Company Inc. was the Leons Welding – Machine Shop in Bankend Saskatchewan, Canada.

Since 1952, LEON’s has built high quality, rock-solid material handling equipment that have stood the test of time. Our products have earned LEON’s a worldwide reputation for award winning technical innovation, reliability, and outstanding performance.

LEON’s was inspired by Stanley Malinowski, and founded by his son Leon Malinowski in 1952. For over 50 years, Leon’s cultivated excellence that forged the global reputation. Joined in 1967 by his brother and partner Ray, LEON’s continued to grow in bolder and innovative directions.

Now in the next century the helm has been passed to a third generation of Malinowskis. Lead by John, Linda and David, the next generation personifies the founder’s values that have made LEON’s a worldwide leader in materials handling equipment.

This is what you can expect from every attachment, dozer blade, front-end loader, land scraper, manure spreader, and rear blade that bears the name LEON.

Leon's is one of the best companies I have ever come across in my 30 years in manufacturing. What a great legacy from Leon himself to Ray, to John and others.

Terrible company. Would not do business with them. I order a blade and they never sent it. It’s been 6 months now and we haven’t got the blade or our money back. If you need something just go to Degelman.

I would not recommend buying anything from this business!!!! should be a zero star option We ordered a piece of equipment and they said it would be ready in 3 months and they required full payment. they did give a paper with the vin and date when it would be ready and was signed. It was not ready by the date said it be ready 1 month later so benefit of the doubt we waited. then called again said 3 weeks more said it must be done then!. called again now saying another 3 weeks. We think we will need to cancel the order as they broke the contract and get a refund but after reading this all i am worried we will never see a dime of our hard earned money :( I wish we had seen all these comments before ordering. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!

I would leave negative stars for this business but that’s not an option. They do make decent machines but I’m in awe of how they’re still in business with the customer service they provide. I had to hire an attorney to finally receive the machine I purchased a year and a half ago. I firmly believe I may still be waiting for it had I not hired the lawyer. I was lied to more times than I can count by the salesman, the plant manager and others saying my machine had shipped, when it hadn’t. Now, I’m calling to get basic parts for one of my attachments and can neither get anyone to answer when they transfer me nor get anyone to call me back when they take down my name and number. Seriously, do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere. Hands down, the worst business I have ever dealt with, I can’t even think of a close second. I own a small business myself so I hate leaving a review like this. In fact, this is the first time I’ve ever left a negative review for any business. However, I do not want what has happened to me to happen to someone else. Either take my word for it or learn the hard way. Good luck

My company ordered 3 machines from Ramrod, which is a branch of Leon MFG. I was assured that the machines had been built and were being shipped. After a number of months, I found that the machines were not shipped, and likely did not exist. We were told a refund was being processed, but 9 months later, there has been no refund. There is NEVER anyone available to speak with about our account, and every decision must go through the "owner," who, of course, is never available and does not return phone calls, letters, or e-mails. It seems ridiculous that we'll need to hire an attorney to represent us in order to simply get our money back, but that is now what we must do.
