★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We got onto the island around 8pm and there were very few places still serving dinner in town that had open tables. We were starving and we happened upon Leo's. We enjoyed a nice bottle of wine which the server recommended.
All the food was tasty. We had the prawns in butter sauce, and the souvlaki. Thumbs up.
This place is a traditional style, family-owned joint. You can feel the love in the cooking.
A bit pricier than expected, but the service was friendly and the food was delish.
Would return.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If tzatzikis were stars I'd give this place 5 out of 5 tzatziki! Excellent food and friendly staff in the heart of lower Gibsons. My new favourite drink from there is the "Windex" martini. Takeout service is available but I say go sit inside and catch up with the locals. Perfect patio for the summer to enjoy sun drinks, and the tasty seafood platter!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ As others have mentioned, the service is poor. We could hear the senior servers berating the new staff for making mistakes. That is never something you want to see happening in a restaurant that is trying to give off a happy, family-owned vibe.
We had two different pasta dishes. The portions are large and come with free dipping bread. We had enough leftover for a full lunch the next day. The quality is what you'd expect for the price and the atmosphere.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The server and service was atrocious and the food was decent.. the waitress was extremely rude, when I asked her if she would recommend the pizza or baked pasta she just glared at me and said very bluntly “The pasta takes 30 minutes”… I asked which is better, not the wait time.. And then I asked for the portion size for the spaghetti and she said “it’s okay”. I decided on the pepperoni pizza which wasn’t the best thing ever.. As we looked around, it seemed like every waiter was giving the same service to the other customers.. sad to believe people that pay these prices for such a poor service and ok food.
