★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Completely enjoyed our lunch at Drift. Our server (one of the owners) Stephanie was delightful. Interesting menu, cool space (kitchen is on the floor below and food is sent up via dumbwaiter), beautifully presented and prepared food. Fantastic and very thorough Covid protocols, including a tray on each table with a note explaining processes. Totally impressed, and already looking forward to our next visit.

Bacon benny was super tasty. Runny tasty yolk - free range organic makes a difference here. Hollandaise sauce wasn't too rich and bacon was double smoked and thick cut. All served on their home made biscuit - yum!
Chicken and waffles was delicious too. The side greens helped mitigate the richness of the dish. Chicken was crispy and brined the night before.
Waffle was buckwheat, which is gluten free. Had a lovely chewy texture, but was still light and airy. Good substrata for the chicken.
Fantastic job!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Extremely cozy and lovely cafe. Went for breakfast and was not disappointed with the all in breakfast. Some of the best bacon I've had in Sunshine coast. Value is just what I imagined it would be.
The outdoor patio looked great as well, just a shame that it was raining so couldn't enjoy it.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Everything was amazing from the moment we walked in, quick and genuinely friendly service. The coffee was really tasty, and all the food was amazing, especially the bacon. Unfortunately they were out of a few ingredients but it did not affect our amazing experience. Very glad we decided to stop by it was the highlight of our dining experience in Gibson's.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had some good brunch here. We sat on the patio which had a nice view overlooking the water. We ordered the Chicken & Waffles which tasted delicious. This place definitely seems a little more health conscious then a lot of places out there but the food was still enjoyable. Even though we picked the most comfort foods of comfort foods the chicken itself wasn't overly greasey and salty and didn't make you feel stuffed, slow, and sluggish after finishing it. At the same time it was crispy and tender inside. The bacon however, was the best part of the dish. It was really thick and full of flavour. The service was here was also great and the waiter was really friendly.

Thick Cut Bacon, House Made Biscuit, Poached Egg, Hollandaise, Hash Browns, Greens.
The sweetness of the biscuit against the tartness of the hollandaise was delicious. Yummy bacon!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ they were out of the crab benedict but the roasted tomato and avocado benedict was sooo tasty. their homemade focaccia is delicious! fried chicken and waffles was great too
will be back to try the rest of the menu!
