★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I’m always trying doubles wherever I go, these ones were just as amazing as I expected. They were salty, sweet, spicy, sooooo delicious. I can’t get enough. Service was also so fast. Two people walked in before me and I still only waited about two minutes.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing flavor and awesome cuatomer service. I had the stewed chicken meal with rice and beans and coleslaw. I also added a side of spinach. Everything was bursting with so much flavor. The chicken was boneless and generous portion. Highly recommend this place.

The staff asked the spice level and I didn't wanted the spicy sauce in my roti but on the side and the staff forgot it. I really couldn't comment on the taste without the hot sauce. Doubles were good. So I might try them again but will have to check my order before leaving the restaurant.
The only reason I am giving 2 stars because I drove all the way from Georgetown and couldn't relish my roti the way I wanted :(

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been coming to this place for their doubles for the last 4 years and they have always given me the best doubles you can get in town. The people I have encountered on the counter here were extremely polite and provided me with great service.
Today, a young girl who refused to pack my doubles separately was not only rude but one of the most uncourteous people I have ever come across. She said, "We are giving you a Monday special 2 doubles are free with 4". When I asked for them to be packed separately she told me that since I was receiving a deal she could not pack them exclusively. This made no sense whatsoever to me and so I asked again as the staff had always packed them separately. She told me that the owner had specifically instructed her this TODAY only.
I refused to order and she calls me back again saying she would do it in a very rude tone. When I go to collect them I say thanks to her for considering my request to which she ignored and gave me a look.
That is why I removed 3 stars from my review.
I would like for the owners to read this and train their employees to be more polite with customers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Enjoyed my first vegetarian doubles from Lena's and it was the best experience ever! Mouth watering and life changing. When indulging in my first bite I was immediately transported to heaven. The sauce, size and price can't be beat and I will most definitely be returning. If you're interested in trying the best doubles you've ever had, this is the place to go!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So I got the $16 stew chicken with red beans and macaroni pie and was significantly disappointed. The 2 pieces of chicken bone I received was drowning in a sea of rice. Not sure what part of Trinidad this pie was from looking so white and unappetizing with a sprinkle of frozen vegetables on top like that would distract from the lack of golden brown tan present when baked in any working oven or under a broiler. I tell you what, NEVER AGAIN! I will stick to the curry goat, doubles or aloo pie deals. We ordered lunch for 3 of us and each of us had a quality issue. The pack of currenc rolls was dry and stale. Whelp, lesson learned.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited for the first time today for lunch. Menu was very affordable and they have daily specials. Ordered their Friday 6 wing special & an x-hot doubles. Opted for the curry wings of course. Spice level was on point, great flavours and textures. Wings were saucy and awesome. Overall great place with good service. Total was only like $8 (beer from LCBO). I will be back.
