It’s all about the why, the who, and the how. In this initial phase, we strive to have open conversations about the project brief, and how we can best help achieve your dream home. Fit is critical to an outstanding result and as such, we want to make sure we are the right designer for you. This process makes sure that the fit (like a tailored suit) is juuust right. For both of us.
All our projects start with a ‘hello’ by phone, followed shortly by a comprehensive Site Assessment or Design Session with you. The design concept is based on the project brief, in consultation with trades and suppliers, broad styling, and initial material and furniture selection. The discovery phase is wrapped up with a high-level presentation with you and our team.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have worked with Leanne on at least four projects over the years and she is marvelous to work with. Up until our latest project, they have all been interior design projects. The latest was an exterior project: a total redo of the exterior of our over 30 year old bungalow and we could be more delighted. In all our jobs with Leanne, we've found her insightful, professional and with a real eye for making spaces not only beautiful but in sync with our tastes and values. This exterior project was no exception. We provided Leanne with a couple of pictures of exterior designs, finishes and colours we liked and she spent time with us walking around our property listening to us describe what we'd like to see. she took all that input away and came back with a terrific design idea that was completely aligned with what we were looking for. Further consultations resulted in decisions on finishes, colours and enhancements and we were ready to go. We also appreciated Leanne linking us with an excellent contractor for the job which involved some complex structural changes and significant coordination of trades and subs. The job completed early June and we are thrilled with our beautiful, updated and quaint-looking bungalow. It was Leanne's vision and skill, paired with her making the effort to really understand our desires that left us completely satisfied with the final result.
