If I could give 0 star I would. The food was ok but overpriced for what it is. The owner made a rude comment because I didn’t tip. It was take out and didn’t like the service I received, so no I won’t tip. I won’t go back for sure.

THERE'S NO OTHER PLACE IN MONTREAL WHERE YOU WILL FIND AUTHENTIC QUALITY CUBAN FOOD, LIKE THIS PLACE. ALSO THEY HAVE INSERTED SPANISH RECIPES TO THEIR MENU WHICH ARE WORTH TRYING. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Came with our staff and friends. Group of 12 people. Small place, good music, the food was out of this world. It doesn't get more authentic Cuban than this. Ismael the owner is your (almost caricatural) super happy cuban restaurant owner. Such a nice and friendly guy. Definitely a MUST try. You won't regret it. PS: the lamb is heavenly!

Excellent choice for expending your journey with your friends or family. The services is amazing, they explain you every details and the food tastes as a real Cuban food. The prices are a little higher than others Cuban restaurants and the place is small so is better to reserve in advance.

One of these "secret places" of Montreal! Excellent Cuban food! They invest more on the quality of their food and drinks than on outside appearance of the building. If you like Cuban food, THIS is the place in Montreal!

WORST EXPERIENCE I've had in a restaurant so far. I wish I could give a huge 0 star. The male owner (he said he was) was EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. NEVER going back there ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌ My friends and I each ordered plates containing rice and fried plantains, because supposedly fried plantains was the only other thing they were serving that day as side (yam was the other option); but what we got instead, after a wait time of 1h30 minutes were plates containing rice and boiled yams. 1- We waited 1h30 minutes 2- We didn't get what we ordered 3- No one told us, there would be no fried plantains, and they didn't ask us if it was okay to switch the plantains with boiled yams. We just saw that in our plates ? 4- We complained about it to both the female and male owners that were present that day. We also complained about the steak porc portions (which were really small, and in my opinion, only a 2year old and younger could be satisfied with, I wish I took pictures of the plates). The lady understood our point and tried to make it up to us. The male owner on the other hand was EXTREMELY RUDE and DISRESPECTFUL. He asked us ~~ if we wanted him to go and buy plantains just for us (he clearly didn't understand the point here, or pretended not to). ~~ where we were coming from? (How is that relevant here? ?) ~~ what is the bottom line here, like what is our real problem here (something we kept explaining over and over and over). Oh, and he had the audacity to tell us, as a restaurant owner, that if we're not happy we can leave and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE.!!! (Because we didn't see ALL the other restaurants in Montreal before coming to your restaurant, I guess ?) All of this because we complained about something they did wrong after a LONG WAIT.! Zero customer service on his part. Anyway, we payed our full bill, and that was our first and last time there. ❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌❌
