Briana listened to our concerns and found us a dog that was a great match for our family. All (and we had many...) questions were answered, and we continued to receive support throughout the process. She truly cares about the well-being of these animals!

I never adopted a rescue and they made it easy by providing all the information I need, making themselves available for questions, and making sure that us (humans and dog) were a right fit for each other. Not only were we greeted with a smiling puppy but the staff (even under the facemasks) were cheerfully and welcoming. And from the moment we met our rescue, it was easy to see that the Refuge took very good care of him with exercise, discipline and love. Even now, well after the adoption, they staff make themselves available for questions, feedback and providing further recommendations to keep our pack strong. Thank you so much! Keep up the amazing rescue work. :)

We had tried working with so many other shelters but they would forget us after the first email. I worked with Briana for months and she was so present and helpful with our family’s needs. They finally had our dog and we were just supposed to go meet him but the girls did such an amazing job at pairing us with our dog that we couldn’t leave there without him. Thank you to everyone there for uniting us with our best friend!! Highly recommended. If anyone is looking for a pup that needs love and a forever home, contact Hotel Balto/ Le Refuge Balto for the kindest, helpful and patient assistance you will ever have. Thanks guys! If I had the space I would come and get more pups!
e	erika rao on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I booked a room for my dogs in January 2020 for my wedding in Sept 2020 but because of the pandemic, obviously plans changed. I had given them a deposit for the room, so naturally I had contacted them for a refund of the deposit. I tried so many times to get in touch with them, they just completely ignore my messages. It's such dirty business to steal people's money. And they are funny if they think they are going to get away with it.

Hotel Balto came in with some incredible timing after having done an amazing job of bringing 120 dogs to Canada from Mexico! I found them via Petfinder and after talking with Briana for a while we went to the facility to meet some dogs. Briana was so knowledgeable about the dogs and you could tell she genuinely cared for the well-being of each and every one. We were originally planning on just a meet-and-greet, but we fell hard and fast for Nico and had to take him home. He is an excellent dog, in great health, and we love him so much. Thank you so much to Hotel Balto for giving us our best furever friend!

The service was amazing and even after having my dog for a little while, i still feel welcomed to ask for any help or informations. You can truely see that they really care about the health, safety and well-being of all animals that go through Balto to find their forever home. I HIGHLY recommend. ♡

The dog was coming from Lebanon and the communication with them was easy the whole way through the process. Most importantly they really care about their dogs and take the time to make sure each one is going to the right family. They also follow up while the dog is settling in to make sure everything is going well. Wonderful group of people for the work they put in to help rescue dogs in need. Highly recommend contacting Refuge Balto if you have a loving home to give a furry friend :)
