Got our (mine and daughter's) eyebrow threading and waxing here for the first time. Pretty good service and the ladies were nice and accommodating! Cute store as well - lots of nice stuff that they sell! Will be back!

Disgusting service! And the way the owner replies to comments is even worst! You get what you pay for! Go somewhere else

I have all good thing to say about the ladies who do my threading. Hope they're happy there. The staff are... "neo bougie" , let's just say. It's cute, I don't mind a little attitude I like the bamboo clothing , great quality. I always come back! The store is clean and stylish. Support local people

I had my eyebrows threaded and a brazilian wax after finding this place on google and they did an amazing job and it was so worth it!

The owner of the store was so mean! She yelled at me in front of other customers when I tried to go to the bathroom and then told me I was crazy for "opening random doors" but like it was literally the bathroom?! She tried to tell me to leave but I was already on my way out. (who tells someone to leave for that??) I left immediately after that because I have never seen any owner act like that. Also service in general is trash so many times my eyebrows were uneven or the tint was just the wrong colour. Terrible move on her part to act like that, from a business point of view, she just lost so many customers. Also I looked through other reviews and the owner literally replies sarcastically to customer's reviews when they have a problem in their store or were spoken to rudely. Or she just asks them to delete the review and doesn't even try to fix the problem! You can see how little she cares about her customers. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I have been going for numerous years now —since they opened. Lovely store, and friendly staff. I travel in 50mins just to have my eyebrows threaded since I moved. Prices for threading have increased significantly since they opened —$4 to $12.

I would like to leave a complaint about the behaviour of the receptionist and the overall service at the salon on Monkland. It was very rude and unprofessional. I came in for a waxing 7 minutes late to which I was told I would have to wait as they let another person in ahead of me - I understand this was my fault. The receptionist said I had been called, but they called the wrong number. I told her that the number they had called was wrong, to which she just shrugged her shoulders and said nothing. I was told to wait 20 minutes, but instead I waited 35 minutes, which I can also understand as I was late myself. I asked if they had tap water, as I was in a hurry, to which I was told to go to a restaurant nearby and buy water - why produce extra plastic is unclear but okay. I waited in the chair and the lady esthetician who was doing the work was rushing back and forth taking care of three customers at the same time and no one even explained to her why I was there, she didn't even understand that I was waiting at first. When I finally walked into the room, I have received the fastest waxing I've ever experienced - literally around 5 mins. She was aggressively pulling my hair out in such a way that my skin still hurts everywhere. I do waxing regularly at the beauty salon, and I know how it shall feel – not the way I felt it at Le Brow Bar. She also touched her phone while giving me a waxing, which is very unhygienic. How do I know how many germs are on that phone? She didn't remove the remaining hair with tweezers. I don't blame her for that because I could see how busy she was. Not happy with the overall service, I left 10 per cent, to which the receptionist told me with reproach and contempt: okay. She gave me the money afterwards and told me to give it to the esthetician (why can't you do it yourself?). As I was leaving, she thought I had already left, but I heard her say something like: 'who leaves so little tips'. First, I left 10% because I had never received such terrible service in my life, I could have left nothing. I usually become a regular customer at places I go to and leave at least 20%, but that's not where I'm going back to. Secondly, instead of paying the salaries of two people at the reception in a small salon, hire more estheticians so you don't overwork them. And teach your staff how to treat customers with respect. Terrible experience. Update on the response from the owner by email: 'Thank you for your feedback. This is Alissa the owner. I apologize for my comment however you are over stepping by telling me what salary to pay my employees. Do you run this business? No. Please do not involve yourself into my business affairs. You were late, you tipped close to nothing and Tina is known to be fast. It’s what customers love. A long and slow wax would be more painful. Mind your business when it comes to my employees salaries. Find another salon. Good day. Alissa'

Best threading and waxing place in NDG and i went for waxing for the first time, usually I do my eyebrows only and I had a excellent experience .the esthetician greeted me with smiling eyes and directed me to a room. It was very bright and clean, she left the room so i could get undressed and came back 2 min after. On the table she had placed some wipes so i could freshen up before she started waxing me. I booked an appointment for Brazilian.she was very efficient and professional I felt no pain at all which made me feel very comfortable.the front staff is also very welcoming and friendly.I will definitely come back ?
