It was good, but I was expecting more for this price. The one marrow was overcooked, then the lamb was undercooked.

Order the lamb at $36, it came out in under 10min …. Was $36 for less than 6oz of lamb. If this was a tasting menu or a tapas restaurant it would make sense. If you’re reading this go eat at La filet and have what this place is trying to be.

Best dining experience I’ve had in Montreal hands down! Each plate we had just kept getting better and better. I recommend getting a bunch of different plates so that you can share at the table. The waiters and rest of the staff are so warm and really make you feel like you can enjoy your meal. No one rushes you out. Hospitality at its finest! Definitely coming back!

The reviews are exaggerated... This place is mediocre but the dessert was good. One server at the end was really good but the rest seemed new

Ordered from my hotel room. Burger, fish and chips, onion soup. Burger was raw (see picture), fish and chip is the cheapest and saddest thing you will ever see and the onion soup did not contain any pieces of onions amd they forgot the cheese (it also had 0 taste, absolutely no seasoning). The good part is that they refunded the onion soup and recooked a new burger. They gave us the saddest looking fruit salad as an excuse. This is hospital food grade. Please do not eat here (or maybe I was just unlucky). At least the hotel rooms are good. I asked if the food brought in the hotel rooms are prepared by the same chef as the restaurant and they said yes.

From the time I ascended the stairs, to after I paid the bill, I felt as if I was in another country. The mirrors on the ceiling, the music, the incredibly friendly staff, and the beautiful view coalesce to take you to Europe without having to leave Canada. The food borders on art, and the flavours are vivid without overwhelming the palate. I would highly recommend this restaurant as part of the authentic Montreal experience.

I was looking for a peaceful, quiet place with service to have breakfast before an exam at McGill, and most places were self-service, and loud. I had an intuition about this place, and I wasn't wrong! The space is beautiful, plays wonderful Jazz music, and has lots of space. It is somehow pricey, but for me, to pay $10 extra for a breakfast in order to enjoy the atmosphere, the peace, and the excellent quality of every single ingredient is worth it! I highly recommend it. I will be back one evening to see what they have in stock for cocktails time. I had the continental breakfast, and it was PERFECT: granola, yogurt, fresh fruits, a mix of toasted nuts and seeds, a croissant, and a beautiful home-made preserve. The breakfast comes with one hot drink, and juice and the price is $22. I did not need a lunch and could easily survive my 4-hours exam on its fuel. Highly recommended! The staff was friendly, but some of them were in training, so it wasn't entirely perfect. That did not diminish in any way a wonderful experience.

AMAZING!! From the food to the service to the atmosphere, le boulevardier was exceptional. All the dishes were prepared with the finest of touches and the flavours were impeccable. Especially loved the tomato salad and the fish! Would come back again 100%.
