★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 4300 deMaisonneuve run by Minto is absolutely shameful this was a beautiful well staffed well run building. The Minto staff has incredible turnover with no authority to do anything - horrible cleaning - awful maintenance- really bad follow up and service- valet company disgraceful- office staff gives the runaround on every issue no follow up and very little communication - Minto renovations absolutely horrible i would recommend any other building in the area other than this.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The negligence of the 4300's management is putting their residents’ health and well being at risk. This is the second year in a row that Montreal temperatures have reached over 30 degrees and the building's air conditioning has not been turned on. It's also the second year that the building has been run by new management.
Of the hundreds of residents in this 12-storey "luxury" building, most are senior citizens. Unfortunately, they can't rely on keeping cool—and safe—during a heat wave. The administration's failure to provide safe living conditions is an abdication of responsibility and respect for its residents.
The 4300 is owned and managed by a Canadian real estate investment trust called Minto Apartment REIT (MI-UN.TO on the TSE). They own two other buildings in Montreal (Haddon Hall and the Rockhill) as well as properties in Edmonton, Calgary, Toronto and Ottawa.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very poor management at this building, with an almost ridiculous amount of staff turnover. Any request requires multiple follow-ups, and still nothing gets done. It seems that local management can do very little without Minto approval. Minto is truly driving this place into the ground, completely eroding the value of what was once a "luxury" building. Also, so-called "repositioned" apartments (Minto-speak for renovated) look nice on the surface, but the quality of the renovations is very poor and incredibly cheap. The one very positive note is that the non-office staff is amazing (doormen, maintenance staff, etc).
